Perkiomen Valley Middle School East serves students from grades six through eight. It offers instruction in foreign language, technology, art, physical education, music, family and consumer science and creative expressions. The school operates a library that offers books, magazines, reference material, videos, interlibrary loans and photocopies. Additionally, the school provides health services that include annual vision screening, hearing screening and monitoring of state required school immunizations. Located in Collegeville, Pa., the school sponsors sports, including football, hockey, basketball, soccer, wrestling, lacrosse and baseball. Perkiomen Valley Middle School East also operates an assist team that provides referral services for students with issues, such as substance abuse, violence prevention, eating disorders, grief and loss, youth depression and family problems.
