Stay clear and do not use this company. Totally unprofessional driver. I am very upset with Arpin and Beattie. When the driver finally called saying he had our stuff I was so happy. After waiting over 3 weeks we could start living like humans again. He was not able to get the van into the apartment complex. Not his fault. So we were told we had to pay him extra cash so he could rent a uhaul and for having to unload and reload again. I understood that. But from the time he called at 8am until he finally called at 3pm he said he couldnt find a uhaul and complained how he payed a guy for nothing now and blamed me for him hiring a guy who didnt have a drivers license. just excuse after excuse. day 2- he has the uhaul and hires 2 guys for the unload. the 2 guys were great. but the driver knocked over the box spring and shattered two handpainted knobs on my daughters dresser. then complained about who put the box spring there when he was the one who put it there. we chose to have a moving company for a reason. expecting our furniture to at least get put back together but the driver said he left his tools. then got in to a huge screaming match with me (very unprofessional) because i refused to give him the check because i felt like the job i paid for wasnt complete. police were called and i had to give the check on the drivers word that he would return with the tools.this is from the driver who wanted to pick some unknown person up from the truck stop he was parked at to help him unload. i told him i do not want some stranger not associated with a moving company seeing all my belongings. now i am sitting here with the bed i couldnt wait to be able to sleep in that in un usable because a major piece is missing so it cant be put together. driver with a not caring attitude says you can get one at home depot. fyi- no you cannot. husband went to home depot and they have nothing like what we need. this has been the worst experience ever. even the two guys hired for the unload said the driver had no clue what he was doing. i hope the claims process wont be such an ordeal like the moving part has turned out to be.
