Dance, Dare, Dream And Do.Shaw Dance Studio is an excellent dance studio for children. Founded in 1991 and located in Sunset, UT, Shaw Dance Studios philosophy is to build well-rounded, highly-educated dancers versatile in a range of dance forms, genres and disciplines. At Shaw Dance Studio we have over 9,000 square feet of space in the Sunset Square Shopping Center and employ 18 staff experienced in a variety of disciplines. In addition, we also offer a full-curriculum academic preschool. Our preschool is dedicated to helping our students reach Kindergarten readiness. Our school features daily instruction in letter and number recognition, sounds, colors, shapes, story time, physical education, art, science exploration, computers, and singing. Great studio for all levels

Our daughter has been dancing here for about a year and a half now. She loves it and so do we.
The teachers give her great one on one attention when she needs it and they push them to reach their full potential. Highly recommend Shaw.

My Life

I have been going to Shaw for about 12 years now. This Studio is my second home and sometimes I feel like my house is my second home. Dance is my passion and Shaw has let me work and succeed in what I absolutley LOVE to do. The staff and dancers at Shaw are my family. They are there for me when no one else is. The studio is one of those places were you go to get away from the daily stress of life. These are the people who have made me who I am today. I am lucky enough to be able to dance when many people would give anything to be able to. But I am one of the most grateful people in the world to be able to dance at Shaw.

No personal skills

I felt my daughter gained a lot of knowledge at this school she participated in their preschool program, combo dance, and gymnastic classes. She always came home positive. However, there seemed to be no teacher parent relationship. The teachers never seemed to have time to give any feedback. Every time I dropped my daughter off to class the teachers were late the building wasn't open, etc. And pick up was a rush and no time to ask questions; the next class was about to start. It seemed that no one was ever at the front desk. They had a note to just knock on one of the classroom doors. I even saw a student leading class in stretches. Good way to multitask, but I'm paying you to teach my student. Their policy also stressed picking up your kid on time, because the teachers had other things to do. Which is understandable, but when I have to wait for class to start that is also ruining my experience. When I tried calling or leaving an email the response time was delayed.

my friend Hannah Northrup gos to Shaw dance and she loves it I us to hate dance she shoes me some of the things she learns and now I want to quit soccer and do dance.
