I highly recommend Wendy from the Healing Hands Clinic. She is currently treating me for neck, shoulder and face pain. I was not functioning when I started treatment with Wendy, and I am now getting better. Acupuncture is not a magical fix, but it does work! If you set up a treatment schedule and stick with it, you will hopefully get great results as I have. I am very happy with my treatment process with Wendy and her husband, if you are in pain of any kind, I urge you to call and give it a try. They are wonderful people and great healers!

I take my family to see Wendy on a regular basis. When I am sick, I make a special appointment to see her because she has cleared up my sinus infections, flu, common cold and upper respiratory infections and I don't have to take antibiotics! My kids love seeing her because she makes them "feel good" and they can't wait till the next appointment. We all highly recommend going for acupuncture no matter what you need assistance with.

I have been suffering with GLO...

I have been suffering with GLOSSOPHARYNGEAL NEURALGIA since Sept. 2004. It is a nerve disorder that manifests itself as an extreme pain at the base of the tongue. The pain lasts from 3 to 4 months and then goes into remission for 3 to 4 months. While the disease is active, I take large doses of nerve medication in various combinations such as Tegretal, Lyrica, Neurotin, and Baclofen. These medication reduce the pain to a tolerable level but have severe side effects such as loss of balance, disorientation, and tiredness. After a few months of remissioin during the summer, the pain started again in Sept. of 2010. From that time until July of 2011, I used combinations of the nerve medications and had two surgeries for nerve blocks. None of the actions reduced the pain at all and the side effects from the medications were putting a strain on my life as well as that of my wife.

I sought out acupuncture treatments as a last resort for severe pain from Glossopharyngeal Neuralgia. I started receiving acupuncture on 7/23/11. I felt no relief after receiving 3 treatments the first week . Wendy suggested my treatment plan should be daily until the pain disappeared. I continued to receive 8 more consecutive treatments and on 8/16/11 the pain disappeared. I then continued to receive a treatment once a week and at the same time started to wean myself from medications.

Today I continue with acupuncture treatments every 2 weeks. I am PAIN FREE and take NO MEDICATION . I want to thank everyone at the clinic for all their help in returning me a a pain free normal life.
