Food excellent, portion large and nice arrangement.

This is the best place I could be and am taken very good care of here at Southern Hills. The food is very good here too.

Excellent care and attitude. I'm so glad to be here, the nursing care is wonderful. I feel safe here and know I don't have to worry. Thank you for caring, also my doctor was very caring.

The wonderful staff at Southern Hills are truly a blessing in our

lives. My mom has been struggling with Alzheimer's for almost 3 years

now. We visited many centers before coming to Southern Hills, but the

moment I walked thru the door I knew this was the right place, and 3

years later that still holds true. My visits with mom start with a warm

welcome and smile from Kathleen at the front desk. Walking down the

halls we are greeted by the nurse aides with hellos and quick updates on

mom's day. (Sherry knows everything about mom and strives to make her

comfortable day in and day out!) The nurses always make time to discuss

any medical concerns and it doesn't stop there. The staff beautician,

Amalia, makes mom gorgeous every week and treats mom as her own mother.

The head dietician, Samantha, strives to keep mom's meals individualized

to her likes and dislikes.) Mom's favorite is the stuffed cabbage!) I

could go on and on about every individual but truly they are all like

family to me and to my mom. My own mother actually summed up our

feelings about Southern Hills the best, she said to me 'honey, if I had

to choose a place for my own care, this is where I would have chosen.'

Being hospitalized for my foot wound I did not anticipate needing a care facility for ongoing care. I chose Southern Hills partly for its location and because the facility was contracted to my insurance. My reception was friendly, the room was roomy and private; which I felt I needed. My first wound dressing was done by Amanda. The first two weeks were a bit rough until we set a schedule of Monday-Wednesday-Friday and got a proper wound-vac. Improvement came quicklyDoctor was pleased. All staff: Nurses, aides, housekeepers, and dietary are great.

My stay at Southern Hills was a good one. The staff have all been very good to me. Therapy has helped me greatly and I feel that I will do well when I go home because of therapy

Southern Hills Nursing Home has been an overall good experience for our family. The staff seem attentive in their duties and care. Information has beedn timely for the most part and the place is kept clean. Patient activities are great.

This facility is one of the best and feels that all of the staff is wonderful here. The therapy department has done me a lot of good and has helped me walk again. Before therapy I was not able to walk, so they have been a blessing for me. The food is also very good and the facility is very clean."

The therapy department is very helpful, understanding, interested in

getting you better and concerned about your progress. They are also very

patient.

This is one of the best, if not the best, Therapy Department I have ever been to. That's why I requested to come back here is for the therapy. I have been to Metro, Southwest, the Cleveland Clinic, and had therapy at home. I have been here 3 times, that's why I keep coming back.

The Therapy here is great! It has helped me so much. Doing the therapy

has made me a more independent person...what would I do without it?!

If you care for your loved ones do not place them in this establishment. Very disappointed and angry with the care that my loved one received. BE WARE!!!!!!!
