I rate Daves Supermarket located on Mayfield as poor for two reasons. The first one is they have shopping carts that are horrid. You try to push them and they stop all of of sudden inside the store and out. Also, I notice and employee taking trash out in one of the carts. And last but not least. I was at this location 8:00pm 4/21/08. I witness employee(s) aprehending a thief who was trying to leave the store with meat up under her jacket. I understand that we are all just sick and tired of people taking what they don't work for, but on the other hand employee(s) are suppose to receive some training on what to do in a situation like this one. You would have thought this was a dramatized movie. I hear screams, come back here, come back here now, running out the door after the person. Three employees held this person and brought her back into the store, while she's crying I'm sorry I didn't mean to do it. Then out ot the sky blue here comes the Cleveland Heights police who is the security for the store by the way. I guess he was in the bathroom. This was just to much emotion to be a business where customers and their children go everyday. I'm sure these employees never had training. I will not shop at this location again and I will not recommend this store.
