Took my Dyson in for shutting off in mid vacuuming. Was told it needed a cleaning and tune up.....and might as well change the roller brush. $130.00 later, The second time I used it since getting the repairs, it shut off in mid vacuuming AND the roller brush works intermittently. Just took it back to the shop and it started and ran and suction was good. Told the guy I just paid $130.00 and was not only having the same issue but now I had a new issue the the roller brush he just replaced. He told me it probably needed a new roller brush motor for around $140.00. Felt like I got ripped off, probably put old motor on so I’d have to bring it back in. Told him it also shut off again while vacuuming. He told me there was nothing wrong with it. Yet it did the same thing at home that I had taken it in for to begin with. To make me feel like I wasn’t getting ripped off, he offered to credit me the $130.00 repair cost off the purchase of a new vacuum. I walked out. Will never go back here.

Horrible experience! Dropped off Dyson for maintenance and cleaning and picked up damaged and uncleaned. I had to take it apart myself and actually clean it even though that's what he was supposed to do. Keep the $60 - wont' use them again.

I dropped off 4 vacs to Parma Vacuum for a service overhaul. We asked that he clean them out and get them in proper running order. My experience with this store is I received them back basically untouched all with a $140.00 bill. The bill was for a power switch and a power cord. Our delivery driver picked them up and delivered them back to our company. Now I don't know about you but if the bags and cups are still filled to the top with dirt that the quality of the service must be scrutiniseed and further inspected right?. The outer casings were still filthy and smeared and spotted. Even further inspection proved a belt on the one of the units was on the verge of snapping and should of been replaced. The straw that broke my back and the reasoning behind this review was the brush plates were impacted with road salt from our cleveland winter conditions. Now you would really need to take a step back and ask what did I just pay you for? After having to return to the store to get our 4th vacuum because it wasn't ready during the first pick up, he insisted we only dropped off 3. After convincing him otherwise he managed to find the missing unit. We then confronted the store owner with these questions: "why would you not clean the vacuums cleaners during the service visit? Why would you give them back to us filthy dirty and in such poor operational condition? Did you really expect us to put these units back into service like this?". SO HERE IT IS PEOPLE ---- Here is a QUOTE from the OWNER of the store: "Most of my commercial customers request that I don't clean the insides of the vacuums out for them". ~~~~~~ Now from that statement you can only truly see why we feel taken advantage of by Parma Vacuum. The owner who is also the repair man has no pride in his workmanship. He finds that what he provided in the way of service is acceptable to the customer. He has no shame or willingness to make the situation right and basically turns away from you during a confronting conversation. We will never use this store in the future for any reason. We left Strongsville vacuum for similar reasons. Where or where is a professional vacuum service location that actually has some pride in workmanship and customer service out there? Anyone?

AWESOME local business!

I was having problems with my Hoover and came into this shop expecting a long turnover time and inefficient customer service like I've received at other places. The gentleman operating the store (I feel like a dirtbag for not getting his name) carried my vacuum in from my car, quickly assessed the lack of suction, found a clog, cleaned it out, cleaned one of my filters, sold me a new HEPA filter (at a very reasonable price!), and carried the vacuum back out to my car, all in about 10 minutes. My experience could not have been more pleasant and I'm thrilled to have my vac back and running like new! Very professional and efficient service, very much appreciated! Thanks for getting me in and out the door with my simple fix in mere minutes! I will be back!!!

Excellent service! I took my old Singer sewing machine in for service and was thrilled with the result. My machine is like new. Great customer service too-- I would recommend Parma Vacuum to anyone!

I came in this week to have my vacuum repaired, and discovered they have amazing customer service! The guy who assisted me was very helpful and friendly. He was able to determine there was nothing that needed repaired, but that the vacuum wasn't assembled properly after I replaced the belt. He didn't charge me for his time, and was able to answer other questions I hade in regards to my new Hoover. I will continue to support this business, and highly recommend you to use them.
