Founded in 1853, the Parma City School District serves more than 26,000 students in a range of elementary, middle and high schools. Its high schools offer career education courses, including Cisco networking, medical and dental assisting, visual communications, radio and television production and carpentry. The district s schools offer programs for students with special needs. Located in Cleveland, the schools offer a range of sports activities, such as basketball, softball, baseball, cheerleading, volleyball, and track and field. In addition to school buildings, the district operates Byers Field, which is the second largest stadium in Cuyahoga in Ohio.
