If you hate children and want someone to validate your own sick parenting skills, these are the therapists for you! My mom saw Dr Misja for years while I was growing up. Then, my parents started going for couples counseling. Eventually, my brother and I were called in for family counseling. In the mean time, I was being physically and sexually tortured at home. Despite years of counseling and therapy bills, nothing ever got better at home. My mother became more violent as the therapy progressed, and when I was dragged into their office, I was criticized for doing what I could to protect myself. This only escalated the abuse at home. When the therapist learned that I was attempting to kill myself, I was confronted by my parents in therapy adn never offered any help. I was 13 years old. It took me another 13 years to find the courage to see another therapist and get hep. I am finally recovering, and I want to let others know of the dangers of seeing the wrong counselor.
