Turns out he did work for the dealer selling my car.
Results were delivered by phone and since he was described as old school I figured it was normal and I was being too trusting... again...

Earl Gibbs is a Jaguar genius. Whenever I have had a problem with one of my Jaguars, he has had the answer and the ability to fix it. If you are looking for someone to work on your older Jaguar, I recommend Earl as the best in the business.

My 85 VDP has been carefully taken care of by Earl since it came to Cleveland in 1991. With all the electrical problems it has, he still allows me on the premises! Excellent service & quality mechanics. Dealers can't touch him. Call you won't regret it.
