I discovered this to be a different kind of primitive baptist church from that of the south and the southern midwest. This primitive baptist church is more closely akin to the regular or missionary baptist churches. Unlike the original primitive baptist persuasion, dating back to the church fathers in this case John calvin, this primitive baptist church has music,funtioning ministries of all sorts, to include organized teaching classes and a minister that would be considered a teaching preaching pastor. Unlike the original or, as is refered to in the south, the hard shell primitive baptist church, this church does not practice closed communion, after which there is a practice known unto them as the washing of the saints feet. This seperate worship service is every first Sunday afernoon/evening of the month. All are welcomed to the services of the Lord's Supper and to any other of their church services.
