I've been a National Emerald renter for 5 years now and love the quick, seamless, pleasant experience from getting off my flight to driving away from the airport. The only time I rent anywhere else is when I arrive somewhere overseas and all the National vehicles are taken. :)

Great service overall. They had a great selection of cars and customer service was outstanding. I was in and out of there in a flash.

I really enjoy the Emerald program. National makes car rental so super easy. The email reminders are helpful. They even emailed me when my drivers license was about to expire. They are good partners.

Just arrived at Cleveland after reserving a Elantra over the web. No Elantras on hand, so got to pick my choice of any triple upgrade - great! - especially when combined with the special promo I had. People and cars were perfect, in fact I got a $10 additional credit when returning the car as I mentioned the gas tank (gauge) was noticeably more full after my filling it, than it was when I got it.

I use National on a regular basis I am a Emerald club member I like the fact that I can pick my own car my only complaint is the condition of the last few cars very dirty one had water spots on the window so bad I could not see had to stop immediately and clean the windows. Another time there was melted chocolate on the center counsel which eventually got all over me was not happy. Their rates are competitive can usually find a coupon will continue to use National just hope the address some of their cleaning issues

National has a great car selection and I can select from their executive aisle. I always rent from National because they provide my company a good price on rentals. Cars are always clean and new.

The process was easy and I found a car similar to my own right away. He attendants were friendly and helpful when I checked out Andy when I returned the car. I'll rent from National again.

Lot personnel are always friendly and helpful. I was able to upgrade at no charge which I very much appreciated. Drop off is always quick and seamless as well. Highly recommend National Car Rental!

Could not be any more pleased with the service at CLE airport. A great staff was able to accommodate a very specific request making for a very productive visit.

The car that I rented was not clean at all. It had dirt on the floor mats as well as crayons left in the cup holders and food crumbs all over the seats. The best part was used tissues in the door pockets and a half bottle of orange juice in the seat back pocket. In the future I will pay closer attention before I leave with the vehicle.
I also was not pleased with the up-selling done on the day of pickup. I was asked if I would prefer a certain vehicle and then when I agreed they gave me a different vehicle and said it was in the same class. The difference in the amount of room in the two vehicles was substantial. They did not even have the vehicle they hooked me with in stock. Classic bait and switch.

First time I used National Car rental, I have to admit it was a good experience. My company has the emerald membership, fast, easy, and good selections.

Got car a Clevewlnd airport. Car was clean, checkout was easy. Return was easy with very pleasant staff.

Outstanding selection of vehicles. Love this company they always provide quality car with bells and whistles at no extra cost, Not those striped down basic cars. Go National lol.

The quality, service and rental process went smoothly. The car selection along the Emerald Aisle was exceptional.

Loved it! When I got to National car. I did not like the small car I had reserved so I was allowed to upgrade right there. I did not have to wait in a line at the customer service counter. I was not harassed to purchase a lot of insurances I don't need (if you have full coverage in your personal car it is transferrable to the rental if in the US) Every one there was very nice and courteous. I just loved it and I felt like the professional that I am.

Convenient location and the selection & staff were outstanding. Could not ask for anything more from a car rental company.

I've been working on a consulting assignment here int the Cleveland area for several months now. I have used National and their "virtual pass" system and absolutely enjoy the quick and easy way to pick my car and exit the lot. Virtual pass is easy and so simple to use.

My job takes me all over the US and I frequently rent cars. This is my first time writing a review but I felt compelled because this was the BEST customer service I have ever received! They were kind, prompt and when I spotted a fun car in the lot AFTER I already had my keys and was in my other car, without a blink of an eye they let me switch and they even re-parked the car I initially took. SO KIND, Best service anywhere. Thanks Cleveland National Car Rental!!!

This National Car Rental location is subpar when compared to other National Car Rentals. The vehicle selection was down to minivans and trucks at the Emerald Aisle. The car I selected had 3/4 of a tank. I showed the attendant when I left that the car was not full but was still charged for gas when I returned the car. The attendant at the return area was not helpful so I had to go wait in line at the counter to get any help. There were three National employees behind the counter but only one was helping guests. Not renting here again.
