At Mi Casita we do not use the term 'authentic' to describe our menu. Rather, we prefer the word 'traditional'. Traditional Mexican cuisine is in many respects the most diverse cuisine in all of Latin America. With roots in ancient Aztec and Mayan dishes, Mexican cuisine can trace its history back a thousand years or more. And traditional Mexican fare is very, very regional. It varies greatly depending on the specific region of Mexico as well as the time of year and what foods are in season. Truthfully, Mexican cuisine varies as much from region to region as Italian food does from Greek. Our commitment to you, our guests, is to provide as traditional a Mexican food experience as is possible in Cleveland, OH. We like to think of Mi Casita as a 'down home' place. We cater to the ethnic tastes of rural Mexican people who have migrated to NE Ohio.
