As a Mexican restaurant, they ...

As a Mexican restaurant, they ought to know better than to pawn off brownish guacamole to a customer. They forgot the tortillas with our meal twice. This is the most inconsistent restaurant that I have ever been to. They tend to get lazy...for instance, instead of making a nice guacolmole, they gave us many chunks of avacado that you had to use a fork to put it on a tortilla chip. Or there was a day where the guacomole was very hot with spices. They used the spicy green salsa instead of the lime juice. Now that's LAZY!! The meat on my friend's plate was so SMALL, The menu said it should be a 5 oz. piece. It wasnt!! We have ordered from them both at lunch and dinner. The lunch chef was always better until now. Both shifts are deplorable. I only wish they had the PRIDE that the west side location has.

We have given them many chances, but now, without the consistency of good food, laziness and lack of PRIDE they have, we and our friends will not be back.

I only go there for drinks and the specials

Mi Pueblo is a popular restaurant in Cleveland, and I know many of my friends like going there as well, but personally the food tastes like it's stale. Actually the food doesn't taste at all its pretty bland. When I go there I'll munch on the chips and all, but I'm not about to spend money on stuff that I can get at fast food Mexican place. I've had authentic Mexican food before and I know it has a lot of flavor, and the beans don't taste like peanut butter.

The thing I do suggest is that they have their half off Margarita nights on Wednesday which I find to be a deal. I also like going there to get a pitcher of beer. But if I get asked "Would you like a burrito with that?" I'd pass.

Blue Collar Mex = Fun!

Like dining in your tia's basement! Fluorescent lighting - fresh food - on some nights, a roving Mexican band!
