I joined legacy urban to have a place to run or walk as in my case for the winter month they showed me around with very little participation then got me into the personal training section where they tried to get me to sign up for a 2300 package Hahaha! This is a high pressure marketing experience and if you show resistance they all look at you like "you're not committed to a New You!! Hahaha when they lost that argument after 15 minutes of negotiation they offered 2 more sessions with a personal trainer for free. The trainers are good people but pressured to meet their quota, I understand it's a business and we all need to make money but there are better ways to get your point across and a more flexible plan should be offered without the constraints if a fool proof contract favoring Them. There are many law suits involving this aspect of their program , how unfortunate that management does not offer flexibility to their sales people . There are too many competitors in this arena and in my opinion, Urban active is on their way to an empty box store

I have an all club access so I go to both the urban active in crocker park and in legacy village. I was highly disappointed in the gym. The front desk staff was not friendly, no smiles.. they act like you are a bother if you want a smoothie. I feel like I am annoying them when I come in, instead of them greeting me the way I expect. I visit the one in crocker and experienced the complete opposite. Every one was friendly and willing to work. I am just confused how the same business can have such different atmospheres! I suggest legacy gets an additude check and hopefully become as strong as the crocker park gym. Until then I am traveling out of my way to go to the gym that treats me right!
