Buyers Beware

8 months ago my husband and I remodeled our bedroom. After installing new laminate flooring and finishing the rest of the room we went to Kronheims to purchase a bedroom set. We took delivery of the bedroom set and after the movers left we noticed our brand new flooring had been damaged. The furniture had been dragged over the new floor instead of lifted. We took pictures and measurements of the width of these scratches and it matched our new furniture legs exactly. We contacted Kronheims immediately and several times after asking them to repair the damage. Many messages were left for the manager to return the call but it was as if they didn’t care.
Eventually someone from the store came to look at the floor. The only offer they made was $150 to buy a repair kit from Home Depot and they wanted us to do our own repairs. I then went to the store in person to speak to the manager and was told the manager couldn’t see me. My calls were not returned and to this date they have not called or accommodated helping with our floor damage. We had our attorney write a letter of which they still did not reply. It would cost lots of money to file for damages and at this point we feel very defeated.
The delivery people damaged our property and will not take care our brand new floor. Kronheims figured if they drag this out far enough we would give up and forget about it. It's not forgotten and we want to warn everyone making a purchase. Our property was damaged and they aren't fixing it. It seems after reading other posts it has happened to others who have dealt with Kronheims. We just wanted them to fix what they damaged. I know we will never shop there again and I have shared with all my family and friends to warn them about making a purchase at Kronheims. I also wanted to warn the public about this experience. We don’t want Kronheims to treat anyone else the way we’ve been treated. BUYER BEWARE DON’T PURCHASE FROM KRONHEIMS!!!

Do not buy anything from this store. My parents bought a TV Stand with built-in fireplace. After talking with the salesman they decided to just get a truck and have my brother picked up the TV Stand. The salesperson told them it would be assembled. When my brother and uncle came to pick it up it obviously was not assembled. He still took it to my parents house to find out it is in athe least 30 pieces. (3 days before Christmas) It was also not your everyday screw pieces together job. Once it was together we realized it had scratches all over it that look as if they tried to fix it with wood stain. The whole house wreaks of the stain. When calling the store they keep telling her that a Mgr will call. When calling back the Mgr on duty was very rude. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

WARNING. I would NOT recommend Kronheims! Their practice is unethical and deceitful. After receiving our furniture it appeared to have multiple scratches, scuff mark and the cushions were worn. I called the store and asked "is the furniture new?" And Marion, store manager replied, "probably". She said that she would send two new sofas. Wow- what a difference. The delivery men agreed that the original furniture was used. I called the store and Marion confirmed the sofas were used. Chris, the GM called me back- seemed clueless as to why he was calling. He spoke over me, was unprofessional and bullied me through the conversation. Marion denied telling me that the furniture was used.



Beware, their practice is unethical and deceitful. I will be going to the Better Business Bureau and filing a formal complaint so others do not experience what we did.



Get everything in writing from kronheims!!

We ordered a living room set in February, and we're told 6-8 weeks for delivery. Called after 9 weeks, we talked to three people before we were told that the company haven't ordered our fabric, and won't have it until first week of May. Then it will take another 6 weeks after that to get delivery. We called 1st of July and we're told that they have the love seat but nothing else was delivered, it will be another 2 weeks! Not happy with their service, especially after spending as much $$ as we did.

Ordered couch and love seat on 2-19-2014, was told by sales guy 4 to 6 weeks to my living room, well ,here it is , April 14, and still ,nothing , they basically told me ,Don't call us, we'll call you ! Disappointed !! Shame on them !!
