@Hearthis Stores don't care how hungry you are. If you knew you needed to weigh the product, why would you take it upon yourself to eat it. You need to put yourself in the shoes of the cashier. How does he/she/it know that you only ate one price of fish? They do not have a CCTV screen under their cash registers to see how much you did or didn't eat. You knew better not to do that and I don't care how hungry you were. On top of that, not all fish are cut the same and there might be differences in the weight of the food and they can't charge you the right amount over one piece of fish. You should have told the loss prevention people to rewind the tapes to make sure your story was credible. They probably did and seen you had more than one. I would have just given them the money and that way you wouldn't have gotten into more trouble. I'm not trying to call you a liar either, but on buckeye, they deal with so many ghetto bums that store employees heard every excuse in the book from hood rats in the area that they probably didn't want to believe you.
