i worked down the street from freddies for over a year before i decided to try it. thinking that freddies was just going to be soulfood without the soul. boy was i wrong. i must say freddies was Q'ing at first taste!! freddies is #1 in my book and one of my down town favorites

I rode with co-workers to pick up lunch. They opted for chinese food in the mall, but I called in my order for a Polish Boy with "the works" (coleslaw, french fries and sauce). We dropped them off at the nearby mall, then went to pick up my sandwich and came back to the mall. While waiting for them to come out, I started to eat my sandwich.

Well, needless to say I almost got mugged on my way back to the office by my co-workers. The aroma filled the entire car. I was almost finished with my sandwich by the time we returned to the office. "We're being tortured by your polish boy sandwich- so we're going to have polish boys for lunch tomorrow because your sandwich looked and smelled soooo good!" I'll probably do the same again myself....keep up the good work.....J. Crockett

I ALWAYS get the Po' Boy. All beef frank with fresh fries, slaw, and a to-die-for BBQ sauce. Kinda spicy, really hits the spot. You must try!
