Got in a fender bender. Had coolant leaking from my vehicle, so I wasn't sure if it was safe to drive. When I reported the accident to my insurance provider, I had them send a tow to take it to one of their service centers, Davis Transport. I was told to expect them in about 45 minutes.

I should mention that somewhere down the line, a family member told me not to take it to the service center, and to just have the tow take it back to my house with me. He's a mechanic and wanted to look at the damage before my insurance provider started ringing me a bill about my claim. (And the problem was solved easily enough.)

Anyways, they were late. I called the tow service at about the "one hour and thirty minutes late" mark to see what was going on, but the receptionist (or whoever takes the calls, I don't know) told me that the offices were closed for the afternoon, and I'd have to talk to my insurance representative. After calling the insurance representative, they got a hold of Davis Transport, and they informed me that they did in fact send in a call to dispatch a tow, but for some reason, it never went through processing on Davis' end. In other words, nobody was coming to get me or my car.

So that gets squared away, and quite literally THREE HOURS after my accident, a condescending and short driver came to tow my car. I informed him that we were taking my car back to my house rather than the service center, and he got visibly upset with me. Not that it matters to him where the car ends up, his job was just to pick it up and put it somewhere. Change in plans are never nice, but there was no reason that he would have been inconvenienced by such a request. Especially since the distance to my house was a shorter drive. I got in his truck, and he was talking on his phone while driving. It was very unprofessional and unsafe. Didn't ask for directions until he finally hung up.

Laughable service, rude driver.

DAVIS TOWING IN CLEVELAND, OH ...

DAVIS TOWING IN CLEVELAND, OH - committed fraud with their insurance company to try to avoid paying for the damages of my car once it fell off of their flatbed.

Beware of DAVIS TOWING - Crooks who will damage your property and then lie to their insurance company about what actually happened. Davis Towing admitted on a recorded line the damage to my car, came to my house to try to settle the matter (also admitting fault) then made up a story to their insurance company blaming us for my car falling off of their tow truck when we wouldn't settle with them directly.
