The Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas Division of Domestic Relations is a specialized court that hears cases related to divorce, dissolution, legal separation, annulment and domestic violence petition. It also performs duties related to the enforcement of foreign support orders, establishment of foreign support cases and registration of certain non-Ohio divorce decrees. In addition, the court retains jurisdiction to enforce its orders and modify issues relating to the custody of children and child support. Located in Cleveland, the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas Division of Domestic Relations offers family conciliation services that is staffed by mental health professionals, social workers and psychologists and provides professional assistance to families who are in conflict about planning children.
