Simply put...this is great training. They teach you what you need to know. This is more than shooting at some paper down a range. Sgt. Kim and Sgt. Mark want to keep you alive!

Hi i took this class to get my ccw permite and i would highly recommend everyone to come see Sgt.Mark and Sgt.Kim. I had a great time in this 10hr class and 2hr range. I had fun and they explain everything great and if i had any questions about anything they had time to answer me. It was one on one at range and i learned alot from the instructors who are also great Marines and served this country with Pride! I told a few people already about them and cant wait to tell more!

I would recommend this class to anyone, I feel that the 10 hour class was very informative and went over everything I needed to know for obtaining my CCW permit. I have very little experience with guns, but my husband has been around guns along time and was in the army. Patricia was my husband instructor for the one on one range day. He said she was very good. I had Rob Scheeff as my instructor he showed me some techniques to improve my shooting, he was very professional and made me feel very at ease while shooting, glad I got to work with him. I even managed to hit the center of my target.



I am looking forward to going back in the spring and taking the class for advanced knowledge. Thanks again to everyone at Concealed Carry Courses!

Hi my girl friend and I took the ccw coarse and we where both very impressed with Kim and Mark and the marines who put it on. I have been around guns along time and was in the army. My girl friend had never fired a gun, Aaron was my instructor he showed me some techniques to improve my shooting, he was very professional, glad I got to work with him.

Richard was my girl friends instructor he worked with her and went over everything she needed to be safe and hit the target. He was very patient and after we were done qualifying he was nice enough to spend a half hour more working with Michele. Very simple all great instructors and would recommend it to anyone.

This CCW class was great! One of the selling points for me was that everyone involved is Military. Sgt. Kim and Sgt. Mark are very knowledgeable. I felt very confident that I can handle the responsibilities of being a Certified CCW holder. Being a female with not much gun handling, I was apprehensive about range day, but Sgt. Mark really took the time to make sure I knew how to handle and use a gun. I even stayed and did a bit more practicing. My husband and I both took this class, we plan on taking the advance course. I have just completed this course today, and this class is everything you will need to certify for your CCW. The study information and the instructors (Sgt. Kim and Sgt. Mark) will answer any questions or concerns you have. They explain every aspect of the study materials and make it fun while they go thru it. These gentlemen are the best at what they do....period!!! They are professional and very attentive to detail. If you are serious about attaining your CCW, this is the place to spend your hard earned money, you will not be wasting it.



When you are finished with class, the fun is only starting. RANGE DAY!!!! I got to the range early and got my testing finished. I got to meet a few new friends and had one hell of an instructor in Bob. He guided me through the test and made me feel at ease. What else can you ask for!!! After everyone qualified, I went back on the range and practiced with both hands and also did some rapid fire shooting. If I had to rate the class I would give it a 12 out of 10. Got my Certification today! the 10 hour class, i will not lie was a lot of info all at once. but it all paid off and we have plenty of interesting and interactive material that made it all worth it. Srgt King did most of the teaching and then Srgt Rodecker went over the Laws. cleared alot of questions i had up . got 1.5 points off on my quizzes for the class and the books were very helpful. Range day was very enjoyable and a very beautiful area! would love to go back and shoot out there again. Planning on taking an advanced class with them one day soon. Semper Fidelis

I just completed my CCW class and my I say that it was quite professional. Our classroom instructor for the most part was Mark a no nonsesense guy! Thats what you want for this is a serious business. We also had Kim for the legal aspeccts and he was quite knowledgable. At the range my instructor was Mike a very thorough and nice guy. He made me feel quite comfortable. A good job was done by all! Thanks again.

I rarely take the time to write reviews, but my experience with Sgt. Rodecker and his team merited much positive feedback. Being a former US Marine myself, I knew I this would be a top rated CCW class to take especially being that it is run by Marines, and that is what I was looking for. So I signed up in a heartbeat to take this course. I attended the 9/18/11 10 hr. class, and it was no surprise that the class was outstanding.

From the first hour of the class to the last shot on the range I felt like I was really learning all the aspects of gun safety and marksmanship. Those old skills came back to me because of the excellent teachings of Sgt. Rodecker , Sgt. King and the personal instruction of HM1 FMF Doc McBirney (who was great with teaching me the fundamentals of markmanship and fast reloading ). I would recommend this class to anyone who is seeking excellent classroom instruction and a satisfying range experience.

I took the course in June and would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone that wants the knowledge and confidence in operating and owning a firearm. Kim and Sarge (Mark.....as well as all the others) are excellent instructors and were very patient. They made the class very fun and informative. Now I have a new hobby that I enjoy with the benefits of always feeling safe, secure and intelligent in self and home protection.

I took the CCW class for numerous reasons, personal defense, better knowledge of Oho's gun laws, and to get some sense of the moral implications of using a gun. I took the 10 hour, one day, class and all of my goals were met and exceeded. Kim Rodecker is not only knowledgeable about guns and how they are used, he is able to capture his students attention and help them understand the subject matter thoroughly.



I would highly recommend anyone that is considering obtaining a CCW permit contact Mr Rodecker and scheduling his next open class. I personally hope to return to his class for advanced knowledge soon!!

first time gun buyer and user. signed up for this course based upon the fact the instructors were all former marines. quite frankly, this course is awesome! took the all day classroom instruction and the 2 hour range time version. although the 10 hour day classroom class was a long day, kim and mike made it all worthwhile. very informative, i learned quite a lot that day. range time was cold (outdoor range and took course in february), but getting one on one time with an instructor was great! since this was the only gun course i have taken and cannot compare it to other courses, i think this class should be at the top of your list if you are considering obtaining a ccw license. kim's company even offers one on one time at every range day with an instructor for a very reasonable fee and i took him up on that this past march. for one hour, i learned even more on defensive shooting techniques. i cannot recommend this course more highly! reasonably priced and great instructors!

I was so pleased with my experience! I wasn't sure how I'd feel about being a woman in my 50's and firing a gun for the first time in my life; but I've got to say, my instructor Bob, was very patient and helped me to feel comfortable with handling a firearm. After the very informative and easy to understand instruction given in the class and on the range I have no doubt that I will be able to protect myself if I need to. Looking forward to improving my skill level and building on the great base of knowledge given to me by Sgt. Kim and Sgt. Mark.I was very happy to see other women in this class also. I feel empowered!

OUTSTANDING bunch of guys! Sgt Rodecker, Sgt King and Sgt Bob are great instructors in class and on the range. This is a no nonsense class but FUN at the same time. Materials were well taught and gone over to all students "levels". I am experienced in guns from both a US ARMY and in civilian life, but this class is for all types and levels, from my wife whom has never shoot a gun to the most experienced shooter. My wife was really nervous about the whole class, but passed with no problems and enjoyed shooting with the one on one instructors on the range. Thank you for your excellent course.

Last weekend I completed my ccw training and WOW what a awesome experience! I chose too go with this class because it is owned and operated by Marines, I wanted to take my class with instructors i would trust and be safe with, and who better then Marines! I picked up my books and tests to take home and get ready for my 10 hour class, the books had so much info in them but i got my test and reading done. I went to my 10 hour class, it was a long day, but i was never bored there is so much information to learn and sarg (Mark) kept it interesting the whole time. I knew nothing about guns and have never even shot a gun in my life, so after my ten hour course with sarg and kim i felt i had recieved all the information i needed about guns and of course how to be safe with your gun. I couldnt wait to go to the range with kim, sarg and there other instructors!! So i went to the range last saturday, i bought a 9mm with me to take my test with. When we got to the range there were about thirty of us ready to take our test. I took my test with one of there very professional instructors, he also answered the questions i had about my shooting to the right on the target,since then i have no problems hitting my target! I passed my test and waited till everone else finished there test for free range time. Safety at the range is the most important to the instructors, at no point did i feel unsafe at any time. After everyone completes there shooting test, there is free range time, so many people brought there "toys" with them. I got to see some amazing guns, one guy even brought a 50 caliber desert eagle! WOW this gun is amazing, Kim asked me if i would like to shoot this gun. I only have shot a gun 4 times in my life and i have been shooting a 9mm! So I couldnt pass up the opportunity to shoot this gun, Sarg took me to the firing line he made sure I was in the right position, and that i was hloding the gun correctly, and I fired the shot, WOW was that so cool. I got to shoot the worlds largest handgun, and no I didnt hit myself in the face, I had the best instructors in the world right next to me making sure I was safe. So too anyone considering taking a CCW class, there is no where better than Kim Rodeckers and Mark Kings classroom! Thank you Sarg and Kim you guys are the BEST!

i have just completed the course with sgt. rodecker and sgt. king. and it was great. these men know there stuff and they do not sugar coat anything. they expect you to do your work before showing up to their classroom. you have 2 books, 2 tests, the ohio pamphlet and a safety pamphlet. and you better have them done. i took the class in 1 day. which in retrospect may not have been the best. it is a long day and at a certain point it is challenging to retain the information. but that is on me and nothing wrong with the class because there is tons of information to learn. there is a good amount of interaction in the classroom. they show proper safety on airsoft pistols. sgt. rodecker covered the legal and sgt. king covered the rest in my class.



range day was awesome. sgt. king runs a very tight range. safety is paramount. there is no handling of firearms unless you are on the firing line. and you better have a properly cleaned pistol. you have a instructor working with you one on one. your evaluation will take as long as you need. i got through it quickly because i was very accurate and was able to demonstrate the techniques that i was asked to do. and after you finish you can go but i recommend staying around for fun time. the people that qualified bring some of their other toys along and you can get some trigger time. i got to shoot a .50 desert eagle. i brought my ar15 rifle and got to use that. sgt. king got me to shoot at steel plates at 30 yards. and i could do it after a little bit of practice. i stuck around till the very end of the range day.



hands down go check this place out. you are taught by the best, marines. i learned more than i thought and had way more fun that should be allowed.

Just completed my CCW course today. Sgt. Kim and Sgt. Mark run an outstanding course. Not only are they priced lower than their competition, they offer way more bang for your buck (pun intended!). I took the 10-hour one day class and separate range time. The day is long, but never once was I bored. It was very informative and kept my interest the entire time. You would think that since the instructors are all Marine Corps instructors, they'd spend all day yelling, but you couldn't ask for more personable instructors. Even people that have never fired a gun in their lives won't feel uncomfortable. Everyone is an equal here and everyone will walk out of that class a lot more knowledgeable about firearms and personal safety. The one on one coaching you have on the firing line not only ensures safety for all participants, it also gives you a chance to take advantage of all the knowledge these guys have amassed over their military careers. My coach was HM1(FMF) Matt "Doc" McBirney. I am also prior Navy, so it was nice to have someone to relate to. After range time, you can stick around and shoot a variety of weapons that people have brought with them or fine tune your techniques with some extra coaching. I have already recommended these guys to my friends, neighbors, and coworkers. If you want to pursue your CCW permit or just learn more about firearm safety, these are the only guys in town you want to go to. Ooh-rah, devil dogs! Semper Fi!

This ccw class was GREAT! I recommend it to anyone that wants to learn how to protect their family better. I originally took this class because of a frightening situation that occured in the privacy of my home with a strange intruder. As a mother and at the time alone with my two girls, i felt helpless. This class has helped me learn the safe way to handle a firearm, with only 10 hours of covering almost everything needed to know in class time and two hours at range time with a one and one instructor. They answer all your questions and take the time to discuss this serious subject in full detail. Meanwhile in class they also make your time as comfortable as possible including the office chairs, hot drinks, and even some soup. They are very reasonable as far as price, and even offer private range time. My time with them was well worth it, i got my certificate and is excited about obtaining my license.I left that class with a smile. I can honestly say that as women i feel i can defend me and my family.

I really enjoyed the time spend on this class. Well worth and satisfied. The instructors go over so much detail that even if you knew how to actually handle a gun, you will still learn new things. The gun range was the most fun time even though i had problems fixing a double feed.The fact that i accomplished learning what i did was so exciting to me, because i learned another way to defend my children in a life or death situation.

One thing i must say is that taking this class with these marine guys was the best thing i could have done.

They were very serious about defending yourself, went over everything detail to detail, answered questions, they were very nice, and also made you as comfortable as possible (seats, hot beverages, and soups.)

I personally took a private range day with Mark and my boyfriend, he even let us shoot his own gun. :))))))))That was sweet!

This class was excellent. It covered all materials well and the 10 hours in class went very quickly. If you want to protect yourself and your family, attend this class. I would suggest that you take this even if you are considering using a firearm for a last line of defense. It is good information.



The time at the range was also great. The information and training provided was excellent.
