MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE

After taking the course, for my CCW license, I knew i made the right choice in getting my training from Concealed Carry Courses on Brookpark Rd. They are everything they advertise. No one can teach you what these U.S.M.C. fellas can teach you. I learned a lot from them, and I am interested in taking the advanced class that they offer. I highly recommend to all looking to take a C.C.W. class !

Total novice. I'm 62, and never shot a firearm. Well....considering the cost, and the craziness of the world I decided to take a plunge. I bought a gun, and happened across Concealed Carry Courses online. I'd say the price was right !! A state mandatory 10 hours of classroom, and state mandatory 2 hours of range time all in one bundle when you sign up here. I could go on, and on about what these people do, but read their website. Nothing is hidden......it's all there. Ron was our classroom instructor, and his presentation of information was to the point, accurate, and at times very passionate. These folks are serious about what they do, and stress safety "all of the time". The 10 hour class went by quickly with all the information that was delivered, and a few breaks tossed in for lunch, and snacks. I just finished the range certification today. No secrets about where the location of the range is........it's in Garrettsville, Ohio which is not a terrible drive. I stink at directions, but got there with my GPS with no issues. If I remember correctly there were 14 instructors on the firing line with a wide variety of students, and levels of shooting. I had John, and he couldn't have made my first time shooting any easier. We talked about gun grip, stance, and presenting the weapon for firing even before I loaded a magazine. I shot double handed left & right, and single handed left & right. John even spent more time with me with a reloading drill, and double tap firing. I went through about 40 rounds, and John was still offering me time on the firing line to finish off my last 10 rounds of which I declined. It was darn cold today. Just a note.........there are retired Marines that are instructors which take everything they do seriously........I'm talking A-Z. Bottom line.........listen........deal with it........and you won't have an issue. I highly recommend these folks...........and they'll go over, and above to help you with anything you need including personal one on one range time as "your" schedule allows. Be safe !!!

My wife and I chose Concealed Carry Courses for several reasons. One, all the instructors are veteran US Marine personnel with extensive training with weapons. Next is that each student had individual instructor at the firing line. No worries that an instructor will be distracted at the wrong time with another student. This allowed our individual instructor to provide each of us with a complete analysis of our shooting pluses and minuses. They didn’t just see if we can hit a target at the required distance, they took the time to see that we did it correctly and provided invaluable tips.

In class we found not only what we expected but also many years of experience in the art of defensive shooting. We cannot compare this class with others, but we do know none can provide instructors that have the extensive training that the US Marines provided the instructors at CCC.

I completely recommend Concealed Carry Courses if you are looking to obtain a CCW.. They do an incredible job of informing you on more than what you read in the book. They are patient and will make sure you KNOW what you are doing with whatever you choose to carry. Completely professional and safe at the range and with 1 on 1 range time they will make sure you are more than just proficient.

I could say a lot more but all you need to know is that I am trusting them with training my better half and my family. Top notch people and top notch business.

Good choice. 'Nuff said. But to be more specific, they DO spend little class time going over the book. Much of it is devoted to other things, like some of the law, a movie about intro bullet ballistics and dispelling fallacies, demonstrations on proper grip and malfunction correction; basically going above and beyond the minimum CCW standards. The range is F****ing far if you have a busy schedule, and Mr. King is a strict disciplinarian, BUT he is showing you how to use a gun in a situation where your life may depend on it. No cursing, no 'you maggot' business, either, mostly tone of voice and body language and FOR a REASON. The class was affordable, though I haven't shopped around. I'd suggest this place except: your car sucks and you can't risk driving it far (put the class money into a working car instead), are afraid of guns (obviously), or you have authority difficulties such that 'I can't heaar you!' would cause you to be unable to complete a course (you've got your reasons for authority difficulties and I won't ask).

So for those looking for CCW instruction without very exceptional difficulties, this place is an A+ place to go.

This is an A-1 class act company. If you listen intently and do what you're told (including the reading materials/homework BEFORE the class begins), you will have no problems with the class or any of the instructors.

I broke my wrist on my shooting hand one week before taking the class. Not only did I learn to shoot accurately and safely with the other hand, but I now shoot regularly with BOTH hands...... a real plus in an emergency situation.

This class would still be a bargain at TWICE the price.

If you are looking for a place...

If you are looking for a place to truly teach you about gun laws and safety you need go no further. With the combined military experience and knowledge of Sargent Kim and his supporting staff you should be paying 3 times what you are. Let’s break down the numbers:

One person is $120. That’s 10 hours of class time and 2 hours of shooting. This is one-on-one shooting with a former (or current) military professional. YOUR trainer. Basically you’re paying a measly $10.00 an hour for extensive professional training.

Also, don’t let Sgt. Mark King scare you. He’s only tough because he cares. Thicken up your skin and suck it up. Once class is over and you’ve gotten your certificate you are on the other side of the fence. All that bravado and Drill Sargent bolstering is gone. It’s only done to keep you aware and centered. These are the greatest nicest bunch of guys (and girls) you’ll ever have the privilege of knowing.

This course is not only very affordable, but the instructors are professional, curteous, and to the point. On the range, safety is taken seriously, and there is even free range time offered to students following the range time portion of the course. I highly recommend anyone who is interested in getting their ccw to go thru these guys, I believe I got more out of their course than my buddies did who took different concealed carry courses.

We (my wife, our son and I) just finished the course and got our certificates. Yes the 10 hours of classroom on a beautiful Saturday was tough, but Mark, our instructor, made the day go quickly. He was very informative and with out a doubt very knowledgeable. You get plenty of breaks. The 1 on 1 attention at the range was awesome! (Actually, the range itself was awesome too...I wish we had one on the west side.) From our experience and from listening to others as they came off the line the instructors are just plain incredible. They give you as much time as you need, are quite helpful, and you will put shots on the target and pass. I don't know about other classes outside of this one, because I went with the Marines, but I don't know how it could get any better than this course with these Marines. Awesome experience for sure. I would make two suggestions to students who want to take this course:

1) Take the homework seriously, and give yourself plenty of time to read the material. You won't regret it, especially if you're a novice.

2) If your not sure of what gun to buy, wait until after the classroom so you can make an informed decision. I like my pistol, but had I waited I probably would purchased something a little different. (Like Mark's 45 - sweet!) - These Marines are winners and you will not regret taking their course!

My husband and I just finished our course with Kim. It is a very helpful and easy to understand course. We were given a lot of information of gun handling, laws and professional lawyer information. Being a woman I was nervouse about the range. I had a wonderful instructor , Tom I have some physical limitations and he helped me relax and do my best. He was very helpful with his instructions to me on what I should do better and how to handle my weapon better.

Regarding my CCW and Concealed Carry Courses

I just wanted to say how very happy I am that I chose these courses over the others that are out there. The information was given in a very clear, concise and professional way. The Marine way is the only way and I found it very easy to retain the information. At the range, all of the instructors are former Marines (could be a bit intimidating, but it wasn't) They made my range time enjoyable and tips that were given will be helpful for my future. I was amazed at how much time was spent with each of us, one on one...and how nicely I was treated. Thanks for the pleasant experience...

I, along with 3 friends recently attended the Kim Rodecker CCW training course. While at first all 4 of us were aprehensive about the 10 hr classroom, it surprisingly went quite quickly. Both Kim and Mark did a great job keeping the class informative and interesting.

The range portion on day #2 couldn't have been done any better. Everybody attending receives "Individual" training. Meaning that all students have an instructor right at their side the entire time, instructing proper grip, stance, trigger pull, and overall safe gun handling practices. More importantly, all Instructors are patient, professional, and do NOT rush you through the target session.

Anyone considering obtaining their Ohio CCW should attend the "Kim Rodecker CCW training course"!

I just completed my concealed/carry training with your organization and I’m still on a natural high from the experience!

Admittedly, 10 consecutive hours of classroom time seemed daunting during sign-up, but it was time well-spent thanks to Kim and Mark. They delivered a wealth of information in a way that was both substantive and electrifying. The reading material, exams, informational videos and personal presentations kept the session moving at turbo-pace.

My time at the firing range was spent with Randy. I benefitted greatly from his superior instruction. His counsel has become embedded so that I will hear his words whenever my firearm is in my hands.

I feel honored to have been trained by U.S. Marines, and am reminded of how very proud I am to be an American.

this link is safe; it is a public invite for all those who've been thru CCC with these guys. Best instructors money can buy. You learn everything you need to learn and then some. My instructor Mark was the best teacher' and on Range Day, Gary was amazing. this is the best place to go for your ccw class, training and they are the best around! Please check out the Link, My Son is setting up a Open Carry Walk in Parma' This Saturday at 2:00, to stand up and allow businesses' and people of the community to know there are many of us law abiding citizens out here who have our right to carry, to conceal and carry and we're not the bad guys' your stickers on ur doors keep us good guys out, while allowing the punks and thugs in, because they are concealing thier guns to rob you, terrorize you, and we're taking the streets back' you do not need a permit for a peaceful open carry walk, but you must be 21 and have it holstered. We will have as many of you as we can come join us weather you own and carry or not' we will be passing out cards to businesses of our city asking them to remove their stickers about not being allowed to open carry in their stores/businesses. they are keeping the good guys out, and allowing the bad guys in, and we will take that business elsewhere.

This is a great class. I'm a rank amature with guns, so Sgk Mark King and Sgt Kim Rodecker were a little intimidating at first, but we're shooting guns not playing with toys, so it should be. They made the 10 hours of state mandated class time interesting, and the time at the range fun. Not to mention the outdoor range itself is AWSOME. I went with a friend who also has minimal experience with guns, and she said her instructer at the range was excellent. All of the other customers at the range said the same about their instructors, I had Sgt Aaron he was great as well. You really do get nothing less than 1 on 1 training at the range. On range day there were about 75 people from the preveous weeks evening classes etc. some like me brought our own guns. My friend and I said in the car afterwords that "AT NO TIME DID I FEEL UNSAFE" it was very well organized. I WILL be back for some of the advanced classes. Bottom line is that these guys are passionate about what they do and really enjoy it that's why they are THE BEST. Also, I didn't get to thank all of them for their military service, so if you're reading this THANK YOU. Semper Fi
