Made three attempts to call these people to report the sighting of a dead animal—NO RESPONSE AT ALL!!! I wanted to report a dead deer which was impaled on the iron fence at the NELA VIEW area at the corner of Terrace Road and Noble Road. Apparently, the deer was trying to jump this fence in an effort to get out of the way of an oncoming vehicle and was unable to completely jump over the fence. Deer was literally hanging upside down while impaled on the fence. Tried to notify someone at city hall about the incident and no one was available to answer my call. I wish that some city workers could remove the dead deer BEFORE it becomes hot and the carcass begin to smell very bad. It’s sad that it is so difficult to reach someone at city hall regarding this situation. I wonder how often the city hall is open-only once a week??? I feel sorry for the East Cleveland residents there. Paying taxes for this type of service SUCKS!!! I will remind myself NEVER to call East Cleveland city hall again-can’t seem to get any help when needed and that’s really sad!
