I have been bringing my dogs here for over 20 years. Dr. Somma and staff have always addressed any questions and concerns I've had and explain test results clearly. My pets have received great care here.

My husband took our year old Chihuahua to the vet due to vomiting foam white and pooping blood. Anthony Somma was the person to checkout our dog and said that he has seen this before ,that our dog had signs of parvo but had her shots not to worry and gave our dog medicine to take every 6hrs and sent out dog back home. My dog was back home at 4pm, I gave her a pill like the vet said at 6 and I tried to get her to eat and drink and she still didn't want to. By 11pm that night our chihuahua started growling and would not move. At 11:50 I headed in to give her another pill because it's been 6hrs and I seen where she went to the bathroom on herself and it was impossible to get her mouth open. Our dog was just laying there dying. I hurried up called a few different emergency vets and was told it sounds like she is shutting down and its to late. I was also told that Anthony Somma should have never sent our poor lil chihuahua home in her condition. So I listened to the emergency vet and stayed up and comforted our lil lady bug as her body was twitching and shutting down. Lil lady bug died that night because of this ignorant veterinarian Anthony Somma who kept a fake smile on his face and told us nothing to worry about and sent her home. I do NOT recommend veterinarian Anthony Somma nor this vet. -Amanda

Dr. Anthony (Tony) Somma is very knowledgable, forthright, and an all around great guy. His staff is helpful and always genuinely glad to see me walk through their door. A visit to Brookview Animal Hospital with my animals is always a pleasure. I feel good knowing Dr. Somma is there for my family. Make him your vet too! You will be glad you did!
