Used Brian's Stump Grinding service twice. The first time for the stumps of a shrub and a very small tree. The second time forthe stump of a very large, old tree. Explained to Brian before he came the measurements of the stump at the ground level and that we wanted to replant in the area, so we wanted the stump ground out.



Instead, Brian ground the stump to ground level or just below but nothing more. In fact, he ground up the dirt on both sides of where the trunk was and advised there was no more wood. But afterwards I cleared the dirt off and the trunk remained in tact just below the surface.



I called another outfit, sent pictures and they advised that more than for replanting that the stump should be properly ground out which it had not been according to them in order to stop ants, termites and fungus.



So I have to have someone come back and do the job again. My advice, use this business, Brian's Stump Grinding for small jobs, small shrubs or tree stumps.

But for anything larger get someone who has the right size equipment for the job and will properly remove most of the stump. And take a shovel and check where the stump was to be certain it is gone before you pay for the job.



This way you only pay once and you stump is completely removed the proper way.
