I recently bought a washer and dryer from Best Buy-Parma. The horror. The first wash revealed that the hose to from the washer to the stationary tub was not tied down and the whole utility room was soaked. When the second set of installers came out to repair this problem, I told them that the dryer was running very hot. They made the excuse that was just because it was new-did not even look at it. Next wash-I went outside and felt under the vent-nothing coming out. Four installers and none could install either appliance right. I tried to call to return the junk-not only do they not have their phone # on their receipts, when you do look it up-they don't answer the phone. Must have a LOT to hide. Went down in person to return and was told it was too late-past their time. I had this JUNK about 10 days-on the receipt it was stated that anything bought between Nov 1 and Dec 31 were good for returns and was told that did not apply to appliances-it was on an appliance receipt-was delivered Dec 2. Then it took about a half hour to get a supervisor to override the return. They don't answer the phone or wait on you in person. The deceiptul, lazy and unqualified employees. They are also turning people off the brands they sell which is really harmful. They are the worst of the worst in business. They are absolutely shameful and all should be warned-pass the word..

The evening returns manager on 6/30/16 left little to be desired. She refused to return my item that I received a day prior via in store pick up. She kept stating that there's no way the computer could give me the wrong item! I showed her that my order slip and what was in the box to prove they didn't match. She insisted that the computer would never make that mistake! Even the gentleman that had to call her for an override didn't understand why the item was not returnable per BB policy. (Cue Idiocracy scenes.) I hope that no other customers have to deal with her. Corporate was called and I called the BB phone number to receive a label to return it correctly

I was given a Samsung Gear 2 smart watch as a Christmas present, the watch was ordered online and was a refurbished unit. The item was listed correctly on the invoice and on the box. Unfortunately when I open the box inside was a Samsung Gear Fit. On December 26th I went to my local Best Buy Store (number 162) to exchange the item for the once that was purchased. The customer service representative told me that he could not held me because the item was refurbished and to call “the 800 number.” I then asked to speak with a manager, and was told by this person that because the store does not carry refurbished items they cannot process the return. When I showed her the return policy on bestbuy.com she said that she would not risk her job and has been turning away similar return for the past two weeks. She then told me that these are instructions from her General Manager (John), and that the District Manager and the Market Manager are aware of the policy. I later called only to get more of a run around and the issue is not resolved in an acceptable manor. After seeking with the representative for nearly an hour I am ready to the watch and never set foot within a best buy again. The representative was unable to order a replacement. The price on the watch went up about $23 and the system would not allow her to order a replacement. She called a supervisor to get authorization to override the price and was refused. Her solution was to RMA the product and issue a gift card for the difference. Then once the RMA is processed buy the watch again.

As the customer I of course expected the correct item to be in the box. As an atempt to fix this issue I woud have expected the store to accept the return, order the replacement, and because it was Bestbuy's error pay for expedited shipping. Is this what Bestbuy calls customer service? Between being in the store and being on the phone I wasted over an hour and a half due to Bestbuy's error, and my family is upset because their gift to me was ruined and Bestbuy's policies make it look as if there is no interest in making things right.
