Alzheimer's Treatment & Research Center
640 Literary Rd, Cleveland, OH 44113
The Alzheimer's Research Center (ARC) conducts internationally recognized research that has led to the development of promising new treatments for Alzheimer's and other brain disorders. This includes our discovery of the intranasal insulin treatment which has been shown in multiple human clinical trials to improve memory in patients with Alzheimer's disease or mild cognitive impairment. Intranasal insulin has even been shown to improve memory in normal, healthy adults. The Center for Dementia and Alzherimer's Care (CDAC) was established for the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of patients suffering from memory and cognitive disorders. Our goal is to improve dementia care by facilitating early detection and prevention of unnecessary hospitalizations through a holistic care philosophy including patients as well as families.
