Wow...I have had the TOTAL OPPOSITE experience at Steel Roots. Tina Binkley has been my hairstylist for over 14 years and I have NEVER been disappointed with any services I've received at her salon. She is on the cutting edge of the Redken Haircoloring system and I have had men and women both stop me on the street to compliment my hair. Tina is not only a wonderful hairdresser, she is a wonderful, caring person who gives tips and advice regarding what looks best on me. I HIGHLY recommend this salon and I send all of my family members and friends to Tina - she has done an outstanding job and we love her and her staff!

This was the worst hair experience I have ever received in my life. Do not buy the livingsocial for this place. I have just recently relocated to the area and was looking for a good hair stylist. I thought this place would do, but it does not. I walked away almost in tears. The owner Tina, was not much help with the situation. If you do not care much about your hair I recommend this place. However, if you want a stylish and professional look do not go here. I wanted my hair to stay classy and this place did the opposite. Very trashy. Do NOT recommend. I don't know who wrote the testimonies on their website but clearly they were paid to do so because no one there seemed professional to me, not even Tina (the owner who is "the professional". Do not go here if you love your hair.
