I had been going to Gateway for several years, however, I have lost my confidence in them after the last two times going there.
I took my Forester there due to an issue with an aftermarket remote start issue. They fixed the initial issue but then my windows would not roll down. I took it back and they worked on my vehicle again for about an hour and then gave it back to me but the steering column cover was not aligned properly.
The second issue I had is when I took my vehicle there to have the front brakes replaced, (they replaced the rear ones a few months back). They replaced both the front and rear brakes. When I explained that I only asked for the front brakes replaced the stated that the back brakes needed replacing as well. I explained that THEY had just done the rear brakes and that I wanted my money back for the rear brakes. I was told that they did not have any record of replacing my rear brakes. I had to go home and find my receipt and PROVE to them that they did indeed do my rear brakes they gave me my money back. RIDICULOUS!!!

Found mistake dealer made. Engine could have been permanently damaged. Thanks guys!! They were very professional and took care of the problem quickly. I can't thank them enough for taking time for that personal touch.

They charged me 750$ for upper control arms and a alingment for a grinding noise happening when turning. I picked my vehicle up that night when they where closed and before i left the parking lot it was doing the EXACT same thing. I called in the morning and they send me to the Nashville location ( i work in Nashville). As i am driving to Nashville the steering wheel is shaking horribly. After picking my truck up the 2nd time they tell me that they are not even sure they aligned it the first time because of how bad it was. 1 week later the grinding noise came back. I bring my vehicle back to them and tell them again its doing the same thing. I get a call back the next day saying it was the transmission making the noise. SO i bring my truck to a transmission place. The owner takes my truck for a drive and say he is 1000% sure it is not the transmission. He takes a look at my wheels and finds where they changed my breaks and didnt put new brake hardware on. like they said they did and it was rubbing on the rotor when turning. SO i was charged 750$ for parts i didnt need and also a service i didnt get either. If you want to waste money and not get your vehicle fixed correctly bring it to gate way tire. If not take it some where else that can do it correctly the first time.

the staff is extremely friendly & knowledgeable. short wait time, excellent service. second time here & will keep coming back. no other place even comes close in comparison!

I have taken both my vehicles there. Its a little pricey but worth every penny. They have enough people and space you dont have to wait for them to pull your car in, a great lounge while you wait , and friendly staff. Its definately top notch.

they charged me about $20 more for synthetic oil change then any other place. wth? Other than that service was okay

I had my brakes replaced at Gateway. One week later the brakes were sticking, this problem never occurred before going here. I was told I would need new calipers an possibly brake pads and rotors. I would have to pay for everything, even though the problem stemmed from the brake job they performed. I do not recommend going here.
