East Montgomery Elementary School offers education to students in grades kindergarten through five. Its academic curriculum includes English, spelling, reading, science and mathematics. The school also offers classes in arts, choral music and physical education. It also provides a range of extracurricular programs that include chess club, media club, honors choir, and accelerated reader and peer mediation programs. Additionally, it offers education to students with various learning disabilities. East Montgomery Elementary School is a part of the Clarksville Montgomery County School System. The school also houses a science laboratory and library. The school opened in 1970 and is located in Clarksville, Tenn.
