I went to get my Chrysler Sebring convertible top worked on. They said to look at it it would be 75. Then they called me back and said they needed another 75 to look at it in more detail. So I agreed. Also agreed to let them fix my trunk for 80. So it should be a total of 230.00. But when I asked them what I owe so far, they told me 300. I was more than a little upset. Then to fix the hydraulics on the convertible they said Gary Mathews had the parts and it would be 2500. They said they could do it for 1300. I knew there was a snake in the grass. I went to get the car back from them and had to pay them 300. I asked them to put all my materials and parts from the back seat and convertible top back in to the vehicle. They told me that would cost another 125 to set it and screw it back in the car. I told them just to set it all in the backseat and not to do anything to it. Just everything they took out to set it in the backseat. I did not want any hard feelings that i was taking it elsewhere so I told them I didn't have the money and I was thinking about it. They were hesitant and against putting the stuff back in the car. They also "lost" my floor mats that were in my car. I also thought that something else was missing out of the car. I asked them about it later and the owner John got very rude with me and wouldn't talk to me after all this was over and he found out that I took it to another shop and he was angry and rude. I would never recommend them. Their facility is dirty and they go up on their price and they do not have good customer service. I feel I was lucky to get out of there without paying anymore. Rip off city!!!! FYI I took the car to Don Teasley on riverside drive and he charged me 600 and he was very nice and helpful. I highly recommend don teasley.

If NO stars were available, that would by my choice! These folks took advantage of my 19 yr old Soldier when his vehicle needed repairs. He was told it was a PCM (computer chip) that needed replacement. They contacted him and said it was ready but when he arrived (on a Fri afternoon) it was only to discover the original problem persisted. After several hours of more "testing" they told him he had put the E85 gas in the vehicle and all he needed to do was stop off at station and fill it with correct fuel to water it down. After paying over $1000 for repairs, he never made it home! They offered to take another look but refused a refund. Once towed to the dealer they immediately found the problem and made the repairs. Would have spent a grand less if he had skipped his trip to Cable's. I would definitely NOT recommend this garage. In my opinion they shamefully took advantage of a vulnerable young adult.

If half a star was a rating I would give it to this business. I was referred to Johnnie because of his expertise with Dodge vehicles. My car never acted up in the 3 days he had it, so he said it was hard to determine the issue and I was fine with that!! But he noticed with over 141,000 miles that my timing belt, water pump and fuel injection system needed to be serviced. Ok what's the cost? $130 for the fuel injection and I will get back with you on the rest, I also asked about tranny service and we discussed some other things that may need service since I'm over 100,000 miles. When I got the call back I was quoted $645.70 which I thought was everything, because he also reiterated they would do the fuel injections, water pump and belt and wanted to make sure he got the "go ahead" to do the work. Husband calls on day 3 around 11 am and they tell him my car was ready (when was I gonna get a call?) and the price was $788 and some change (strike 2). Over a $100 difference and my husband questioned it, then we were told it was a confusion because the last call was a quote just for the water pump and timing belt, but if you pay with cash they would take $80 off the bill. My husband and I both asked to talk to Johnnie to clear up the confusion, but he was too busy to talk to us. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE OWNER......NOT!!!

Let the price gauging begin $50 fuel induction cleaner & additive and $40 for labor. Coolant $16.20, Shop supplies $20 pump $77.99 & belt $57.99 timing belt labor $372.05 and this was after he claimed to have adjusted the price. I got inside my car, my floor mat was covered in dirt, rocks and grease, and door panel covered with greasy handprints(strike 3). NEVER EVER AGAIN!! I hope your experience will be better than mine
