Provided by YP.comwhile I was shopping, I was shocked that the so-called professional dog trainer giving the class was teaching very out-dated and abusive training techniques. Because PetSmart is a sponser of Animal Planets, "Its Me or the Dog" show with professional trainer Victoria Stillwell, I would have thought they would be very careful selecting qualified individuals. I witnessed many owners jerking the dogs leashes in a choking manner and one lifted her dog up by throat. Harsh screams could be heard across the store and a dog even ran out of the store across the parking lot into danger. I hope this changes soon.
