I would not recommend Novacare.



I'm very disappointed with Novacare. I went here for a month with little improvement. The therapist did not follow my doctors prescription. I saw my doctor after 3 weeks of PT and he wrote a new script giving detailed instructions on what he wanted done as he was not happy with Novacare. Novacare did not change my treatment despite my doc's recommendations so I swichted PT clinics. I am going to a different place in Clarkston and they are following my doc's script and work on me for as long as it takes with exercise, stretching, massage, traction and ultrasound. The therapist at Novacare was dressed for the office and wears heels. The therapists at the place I go to now wear khaki's, a company shirt and tennis shoes so you know they're not afraid of working on you. Also, I had a sore muscle that Novacare did not treat despite my telling them about it in my eval. I had to ask them to work on it and then they only worked on it for about 10-15 minutes perhaps because they had to get me out of there in 60 minutes. It seems that Novacare interest is getting you in/out in 60 minutes rather than your actual therapy. Yes, I should have left Novacare sooner. My mistake.



The facilty is nice, clean and the staff is friendly.
