I can't say enough about how pleased we were with the recent renovation by Heflin Contracting. Jim (at Heflin) provided great service by listening to our needs and ensuring his team provided the best service. The one item I found unique was the attention to detail. The project was a whole house renovation including a bathroom rebuild. Every wall, floor and ceiling was touched by the Heflin crew. They completed the project on time and we are extremely satisfied. I would recommend Heflin for any renovation needs. Thanks to Jim and the rest of the Heflin team for a job well done. I will definitely look to Heflin in the future for any contracting needs.

We hired Heflin Contracting to construct a new office for our business in Buckhannon. The project included everything. Site preparation, parking, building, roof, electrical, plumbing, heating/cooling, complete interior finishing, and even landscaping. Their bid was by far the lowest cost of any we received. At every step they exceeded our expectations. Professional, personable, flexible, and fast. It seemed as if there was nothing they wouldn't do to make sure that the work was done right and that we were happy with the end result. The success of this project was so crucial to our business, and Heflin came through for us in a big way. I would recommend these guys for absolutely anything. A+.

I asked Heflin Contracting to construct a new entrance to the crawlspace under my house, including installation of a set of exterior basement doors. They started the job promptly, worked quickly, and the quality of the job they did is excellent.

Heflin Contracting was very professional and quick to respond to any questions I had. They did a great job, got all the work done in a timely manner, & came in at the estimate given. I am trying to buy a house and USDA required some repairs before the loan was approved. They were very quick to set up an appointment to for the estimate and then just as quick to finish the repairs. Jim Darway & everyone with Heflin Contracting was more than accommodating and professional. Will definitely call them again for any contracting needs.

In 2013 Heflin Contracting completed an internal addition to our medical facility, as well as other misc. projects. Overall, I would rate this company a 4.5 out of 5. They were responsive to changes/request, very accommodating, timely, dependable & mindful of patient confidentiality. They did an excellent job. We, as well as another facility in corporation, plan to call on them again this year for carpentry

Very professional, personable, and knowledgable. I had a difficult plumbing problem that they tackled with ease - very fast and efficient. I will never use anyone but Heflin Contracting again!

Our home in Bridgeport suffered significant water damage due to a malfunctioning dishwasher requiring repairs to kitchen, family room and dinner rooms floors, replacement and painting of drywall in the basement. In addition to the water damage work, inspection found termite damage, need for chimney tuckpointing and large hole where an animal had burrowed into the crawl space under the family room. Based on suggestions form various parties, three local contractors were invited to visit the property and prepare bids for the work. Of the three contractors, Jim Darway of Heflin Contractors asked the best questions, offered the best suggestions and provided the most complete and comprehensive proposal. The work was completed on schedule and budget, and exceed our expectations. We would use Heflin again on any future work without hesitation, and recommend them to anyone needing work done in their home.

We contacted Heflin Contracting for an estimate for several projects. Within two days a representative met with us, took measurements and answered questions. We received an estimate for the work within a few days. The work consisted of a complete replacement of roof along with an extension to cover a porch, removal and replacement of a block wall, replacement windows, porcelain tile floor, finishing brick on chimney, soffit, facia and gutters, etc. The work was done in a very professional and efficient manner. All the work was completed in a timely manner despite all of the rain they had to content with. All of the employees were professional and friendly, always listening to comments and suggestions and always double checking on the type and colors of the replacement materials. Will contact Heflin Contracting if we need any further remodeling or construction. Would recommend this company highly to anyone who would ask. Very pleased with the work.

I needed a rather large project done in a short amount of time. Heflin was very prompt returning my phone call and from then on out I have been nothing short of impressed. They do incredibly high quality work and are very responsive to my input and needs. I have already lined up several more projects with them, I cannot give a higher recommendation.

I've had several repairs/renovations done by Heflin contracting: replacing my roof, repairing damage to my ceiling in a sunroom caused by water leakage, replacing skylights, redoing two bathrooms, including floor and shower tiling. All of the work was done promptly and efficiently by workers who were professional and pleasant. I would recommend them highly.

A tad pricy but dependable and reliable. Met all commitments, very professional, and friendly. Gave good advice, did good work that stands up. Wish all contractors in WV could be like them. They always call you back and they always show up. They don't give you a bunch of excuses and they don't waste your time. They want to work and they do. Work schedules are great with no delay when compared to most others.
