So far, I've worked on two projects with Aileen at Smart Window Creations. The first project was for exterior electric blinds, and the second project was for nine interior blinds in different sizes. In both projects Aileen offered some excellent suggestions that were different than what I had in mind initially, proving she's a thoughtful designer with great ideas gained from her experience, not just an order taker. She also worked directly with the manufacturer when two of my windows were at or beyond the length limits for the type of controls I wanted and she came up with a good alternative for the one window the manufacturer decided was too wide for the desired controls. At the end of the projects, if something was not quite right, she stuck with it until the issue was resolved to my satisfaction. Additionally, Aileen's final measurement and installation crews have been excellent at doing their job, and have been friendly, neat, and prompt. Smart Window Creations did two jobs for us, fabric window and sliding door treatments in one room, and wooden blinds in the kitchen. It was a pleasure to work with Aileen. She was warm, personable, professional, and very knowledgeable about her products. We didn't know much about choosing or installing window treatments, and it was a relief having Aileen to help. She is great with colors and will offer advice when asked. I'm sure we avoided multiple DIY problems! We had factory-caused quality control issues with some of the fabrics, but Aileen made the exchange process as smooth and easy as possible. That's another reason we're glad we didn't do the windows on our own. All the window treatments fit perfectly and look great. We plan to use Smart Window Creations again.
