I called because my dryer was not functioning, I suspected the venting system. The repairman "cleaned" the venting system. He did not put the venting system back correctly. He came back to do that and the dryer still was not working. I sent him an email told him it was still not working. He did not I call or respond back to finish the job he started. I called another repair company who actually really cleaned the vent. JB's Appliance was a waste of money.

Figured out the problem my 2 year old dishwasher had. Took a few visits, but he fixed it and I am thankfully up and running without spending too many $$$. Very nice and polite too.

I've had a Fisher and Paykel Dishdrawer for several years, the last few with a sudsing problem that several visits from an "authorized repair" person failed to solve; in fact, I gave up and did dishes by hand for almost a year. As a last resort, I called a "local appliance repair" person--Jason Beeman of JB Appliance. He came, he spoke with the F&P people on the phone while he worked on my machine and, voila, it now works. He was knowledgeable and gave me several good tips for working with this sometimes quirky machine. I will use him for ALL my appliance issues from now on! Thank you!

Company had me drop my air con...

Company had me drop my air conditioner off for repair at home address, not address listed on website. Repair person is very nice and personable on the phone and in person (though I only met once). I was told he would look at the AC that night. After not hearing back for a few days I called and left a message. NO response. After a week I called again and left a message. NO response. After two weeks, the same. Two and a half weeks, the same. Three weeks after dropping off my AC I called, leaving a message threatening to call the police/BBB/LG. The next day I was FINALLY called and told he could not fix it as he was not certified in freon(sp?) repair. He said he had left a message but my phone had no missed calls and no voicemails from him or any other number. I went to pick up the AC when he said he would be home, called the phone and got no answer and took my AC as he said that would be fine anyway. Although he was courteous in person, his communication skills are lacking and I would not use this company again.
