Dr. Leavitt is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and strives to provide complete and compassionate care to all patients within the scope of comprehensive otolaryngology. She graduated from medical school in Kansas, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She went on to complete her residency training at the University of Wisconsin which included mentorship and surgical training under academic leaders and experts in the fields of head and neck oncology, laryngology, facial plastic surgery, and otology. Dr. Leavitt has an interest in all aspects of otolaryngology, including disorders affecting the ear and hearing, nasal airway and sinuses, thyroid and parathyroid, and salivary glands. She is dedicated to providing patients the most current evidence-based recommendations for medical and surgical care. Her goal is always to provide excellent and compassionate patient care to each person as a unique individual. Additionally, Dr. Leavitt focuses on patient education as an important part to achieving the best long-term health of each person. She recently relocated to Portland, Oregon, where she spends time with family in the area, and explores the great outdoors.
