We were delighted to be invited to taste cabernet sauvignon and syrah 2008 vintages still in the barrel, even though this new winery was still under construction and they are not set up for sales to the public. Both wines were excellent, but we were stunned by the superb quality of the syrah. In 39 years of wine-drinking we have never encountered an elixir so fine! Too bad it is not available for sale at any price.
