Since Introducing Chula Vista's finest tasting pizza in 2005, we have prided ourselves on having a pizzeria that caters to the local community by offering superior tasting pizzas along with exceptional customer service. We imported our pizza recipe from the Midwest ( the Quad Cities: Rock Island, Moline, Davenport and Bettendorf ) and are hoping our business venture becomes a lasting success. Our pizza is different from traditional California pizzas because our sauce is made from our secret blend of tomatoes and spices topped with the highest quality cheese straight from Wisconsin. Our dough's unique flavor combined with our rotary oven's ability to cook every pizza perfectly allows for us to provide you with a delicious and savory pizza every time. Scissors are used to cut the pizza into strips rather than the usual pie-cut. By combining a unique menu with a wide array of fresh ingredients along with a cool, modern soccer decor ( displaying pictures of world renowned soccer players ), we have been able to bring together a friendly sports-like atmosphere with a Midwestern flavor to the South Bay of San Diego. We both share a love for great food and the dedication to bring it to everyone in the community. Ernie's love of the restaurant industry and Alex's eagerness to use his business experience to launch a company that would be successful on a larger scale, has guided us. "It's all about serving our customers, supporting the community we both live and work in, and being recognized as the neighborhood gathering place for all types of celebrations. The core of our menu consists of signature pizzasbecause that's what we do best" Ernie and Alex.

I was as excited as anyone else to have a pizza place open in this shopping center. The people were very nice and friendly. The dining area and kitchen were very clean. The Combo Deal #1 was a good deal.

The not-so-good:

To be fair to them, I didn't see a sign that advertized NY- style pizza. On that note, do not come here expecting NY-style pizza. You will be disappointed, just like I was. As far as taste, I will just say that I have had much better in San Diego. I will, however, let you ponder this:

1) After pizza comes out of the oven, they brush butter on the crust. What?

2) They use a giant scissor to slice their pies. What?

C'mon all you pizza-loving/connosissuer/expert/snobs. Tell me, who does that?!?

Sorry. I really wanted to like this place
