Im the owner here at Bts Broadway Transmissions helping out the San Diego community for over 12 years. We all have our bad reviews as businesses and try to keep customers happy. Unfortunately in this life is not possible to keep everyone happy. But our work speaks for itself like I said 12 years in business and even Aamco and Midas send us work I hope potentiall customers that need our service call us so they can experience the 3 things everyone wants . We offer great pricing compare to other shops We are fast for we have other cars to work on and we know customers need their vehicle and Trustworhty been here over a decade it speaks for itself Thanks.

I am sitting here with my cousin. We dropped off his car yet again, this time when we picked up the car we noticed his license plates were missing. When we broached this with the shop attendant he said they had been stolen Friday night. My cousin was never notified. The shop did not file a police report which we are doing now. On previous visits they did not fix all of the problems, the car was never returned in full working order even though the work was paid for. They always went well over projected repair times by no less than 3 days all the way up the 3 weeks over. On a previous visit, They failed to tighten the lug nuts and the wheel came off on the road. I am beyond fed up with this shop. I own 4 vehicles and have never had experiences like this before. Please don't subject yourself to this place.

This place is a good small family owned/operated business. The owner is a proud, hands-on guy that will go all-out to make it right. Transmissions are very sensitive. Not something I would want my mechanic rushing through. If your need is "overnight service" on your tranny; you will most likely run into problems anywhere you go. I had a tranny problem with my truck, found this place and got a quote. The price of the repair was way cheapper than anyone else in the area and it came with a 2yr warranty (in my opinion insane for a 13yr old vehicle with over 200k miles). Anyhow, I dropped off my truck, got it fixed, failed, returned it 6 additional times before it ran right. In all, I drove it there 4 times and the shop had it towed 3 times at their expense plus; they put in gas to compensate for what they spent while testing it. Yes they could have done a better job at troubbleshooting however.... the service was outstanding; despite the issues, they owened up to the resposibility every time, returned my vehicle within a reasonable amount of time and were always respectful. If anything I would say they could do a better job on communicating since there were times when I showed up to get my vehicle on the promissed day and it was not ready. Again; you will not find a cheapper place in town that is as cheap as they are or that offers this type of warranty. Well worth it if you have the time.

This Business is a total joke the worst service ever!!!!! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, I took my car in thinking they were professionals I asked how long it would take to rebuild my transmission they said 3-4 days. That was a joke! Broadway Transmission returned my car after 8 Business days, after excuse after excuse to still not run properly. When I asked to speak to the person in charge to see what was going on with they're services the person in charge advised me he forgot to order the part and laughed in my face. I then returned my car twice after because of lack of power in the transmission and because the part they forgot to order had not been put in the first time. My car then began to over heat when I called to speak to the person in charge he would not answer or return my calls at all, till I blocked the number I was calling from. One of the times I had gone in to speak with him and approached him closer I could smell Alcohol on his breath. Never again will I ever utilize they're service again. N Yes It's a WARNNING to the public.
