We recently moved to Chino Valley from Alabama where our 6 yr. old schnoodle had the same groomer the entire time we lived there (5 years). I was rather worried about finding him a new groomer that would care for him like he was their own dog as our old groomer did, after searching around on the internet and reading the reviews here we gave 3 Angels a call. I am SO glad we did! I doubt I'll take our fur children anywhere else. Our high strung boy was extra calm and extra handsome.

Hi I moved to CV recently for a job with my own 3 angels - 3 cocker spaniels who have the coarse unruly hair of their breed and I haven't had a lot of time to brush them completely out.

in addition 2 of them are littermates who fight a lot - Susie at 3Angels was HIGHLY recommended by a friend who used to work at the hair salon next door .I cannot second that more strongly - she and her husband are AMAZING! I was stunned to see anything less then 5 stars for this spa (and it IS a spa) here as the time they took with the three terrors was MANY HOURS per dog. I took my "kids" 3 times in 2013 to her and the dogs were FULLY brushed out with teeth cleaned, nails trimmed and polished, the dogs were calm from the wonderous aromatherapy she does and SO HAPPY. this is no mean feat with my hyper crazy dogs - at the time the littermates were only two (they are three now)

the older cocker Daisy was rescued in Denver from an abusive home and eats too much and had bad (yellow and broken) teeth. Susie told my about dogs teeth shedding - in Dec 2013 she cleaned daisy's teeth completely and GENTLY and advised me on a better diet for her. RESULT - Daisy has lost 5lbs and she no longer needs the $800.00 dental work Circle L wanted to charge me and I did not have the money for.

In short this is a wonderful place to take your dog I cannot recommend it more highly - Sincerely Alecia Thomas

I have lived in Chino Valley f...

I have lived in Chino Valley for 12 years and in that time have tried several groomers. Took, my German Shepherd last week. Now Max is a handful, He came out looking beautiful and as calm as could be. That in itself was an accomplishment. They are a little expensive but, if you love your dog's as I do mine they are worth it.

These people are wonderful!

My first experience with 3 Angels was when the mobile grooming service I had used for 7 years had to close shop because the owner developed cancer. I had a 7 year old cker spaniel, Saij, who is super sensitive, lovie-dovie, and thinks he's human, and a 13 year old lhaso/pek, Gracie, whose nature was always high maintenance, a bit snippy, but loving on her terms, and who had just been diagnosed with cancer (not a good candidate for surgery) and given 6 months to live. Neither one of them much enjoyed a bath at home, nor the groomer service, but we had a schedule, and they would "deal" and get through it.

I am not a lover of change, and was worried sick to take my dogs, that are like my kids, somewhere else. Recommendations I had from friends were not taking on "new clients", were polite but less than caring on the phone, or were wanting me to bring the dogs in at opening time, and pick up at end of the day - no timeline as to when they'd be groomed. I didn't like the idea of them being kennelled for pretty much 8 hrs for a 2 hr service.

I found Susie in the yellow pages, and she put me at ease immediately on the phone, understanding my concerns with leaving my dogs somewhere all day when they were use to a groom and then up the driveway and home the went. She assured me of some techniques they do to relax the dogs (no medication involved) which sounded sweet, but quite frankly, I doubted it would work for my dogs - they were going to be stressed with the change, I was sure of it. But it was the most caring attitude I had heard on any of my calls. She also advised about setting appt times to keep the dogs from having to stay all day, which I liked. But I didn't know anyone that took their animals to her, so I was still leery of a "too good to be true" sound to this lady. I made them an appt, and then met with her prior to leaving them for their first groom, where my dogs instantly took to her, and acted as though I was not even in the room. This was completely out of character for both dogs, who had instant love for that lady.

Upon picking them up, my dogs had NEVER been groomed so well. From the bath, to the cut, to their paws and nails, their ears - total package, never better. And to my surprise, not stressed at all. In fact, Saij, who stands in the back seat the ENTIRE way to California when we go there to visit my in-laws, sat calmly for the 15 min ride home from 3 Angels. And Gracie was abnormally upbeat for her health situation, and wanting to take walks and play with Saij for a couple days following her first appointment, which she hadn't done in weeks. Again, I was pleasantly surprised.

I've since taken my animals back for their regular groomings, and one teeth cleaning, and again, nothing but wonderful care. As Gracie's health issues evolved, she continued to be excited and run to the car and to the front door of 3 Angels to "Go see Susie", until her last visit. Susie and her husband continue to groom Saij for us, as well as do nails and ears for Stella, the abandoned and abused black lab puppy we got from the pound who also instantly trusted Susie.

I was surprised to read someone had a negative experience, and that this is the only thing noted on her ratings, so wanted to take the time today to express my sadness for that person's unusual situation and loss, and tell of how dramatically different my experience with 3 Angels has been. I wish 3 Angels all the best, for the wonderful service they have provided for my dear pets.

if you love your dog DO NOT bring them here‎

my mother in law dropped off her chihuahua earlier today to get her teeth cleaned. she told them her chihuahua is a bit spoiled, they replied " we have 15 years experience". then she got a call from 3 angels saying she had to meet them at the vet. they say the dog "fell" and hit her head and died. to top it all off, the vet stuck her with the bill... what a bunch of classless jerks!!!! nobody should ever have to go through this! i DO NOT recommend this place to anyone who loves their pet.

The dog in question was an emotional wreck, we did our very best to bond and console this dog but to know avail, it exploded and was uncontrolable biting and freaking out.... the owner gave a bogus address and stated she had pulled the dogs teeth at home.. this was probably the factor for the reason for this dogs violant behavior. All dogs are special to us, we were greatly sadened by this situation...
