DONT LISTEN TO THESE REVIEWS THAT WERE OBVIOUSLY WRITTEN BY THEM,I BET..IVE TALKED TO MANY DEALERS,MECHANIC SHOPS,THESE GUYS WILL TAKE YOUR CAR TO A BODY SHOP AND COLLECT A FEE FROM THE BODY SHOP FOR BRINGING YOU THERE WHERE YOU WILL GET STUCK WITH A GIGANTIC BILL JUST FOR THE BODY SHOP LOOKING AT IT.THEY WILL RECOMMEND A SHOP TO YOU,BUT DONT TELL YOU THEYRE ON THAT SHOPS PAYROLL..AND THEN THE SECOND CAR,THEY CAME TO BUY IT AND OFFERED $1000 ON THE PHONE AND CAME OUT AND STARTED LOWBALLING SAYING THEY CAN ONLY PAY $400!IT WAS A 2003 CAMRY!THEY DIDNT NO I JUST GOT IT BACK FROM THE SHOP WHERE THEY TOLD ME I NEEDED STRUTS,SPRINGS,AND MUFFLER.THE TOW GUY SAID THAT THE ENGINE IS BAD!LOL!I SAID WHY U SAY THAT??HE SAID ITS GOT 150K ON IT,ITS NO GOOD.YET CAMRYS ARE KNOWN TO HIT WELL OVER 250K,SECOND,THE ENGINE RAN FINE!I TOOK IT TO THE MECHANIC WHO DIDNT KNOW I WAS JUNKNING IT,AND HE BOUGHT IT FOR $1700 CASH.GO FIGURE.A MECHANIC BOUGHT IT.HE SAID MY ENGINE IS TOP NOTCH.HE'S GLAD I USED MY HEAD AND CALLED HIM 1ST.$400 FOR A 2003 CAMRY?THAT WAS LAST STRAW.1ST THEY GOT MY SISTERINLAW BY TOWING IT TO A BODY SHOP WICH SHE DIDNT EVEN WANT TO DO,BUT THEY TOLD HER ITS BETTER TO GET IT LOOKED AT RATHER THEN WAIT FOR THE INSURANCE COMPANY TO COME OUT.THEN THEY GAVE HER A $1250 BILL FOR INSPECTING IT AND TOWING CHARGES.YES,THATS RIGHT,THEY DONT CHARGE YOU TOWING WHEN YOU GO TO THEIR RECOMMENDED BODY SHOP..

I called this company and they were very nice and sent me a truck really fast and did a nice job. If I break down again I will for sure call again

My car wound up in my neighbor's back yard last week. My crazy g-ma forgot which pedal was which and manage to jump the curb, run over some bushes and landed on top of a tree stump in the neighbor's back yard, which is fenced in the back.Dismantling the fence was a major feat, so when XL Towing came out they scatched thier heads a bit, then called in the big guns. They actually lifted my little Honda Fit off of the tree stump, over the fence, and placed in directly onto a tow truck. WOW! I wished I had taken pictures because the whole thing was very cool!When I told the body shop how they got my car, they told me that is one a alot of reasons they use XL Towing. Oh, and grandma is just fine.

Just called this towing company to help my poor little brother to get back into his car lol and they were great!!!!!!phone clerk was very very pleasent andthey have reasonable price!!!!Guess Dex knows best after all!!!!`

Funny how things come full circle. About a year ago, I was a bad girl and parked my car in a firelane and got towed by XL. Yeah, I was a mad at first, but I'm the one who was in too big a hurry to follow simple protocal. Went to get my car out of hock, and was actually treated very nicley. Overall, I'd have to say, I learned a very valuable lesson that was forced by my cheating the rules. Anyway, almost a year to the day, I got into an accident with a druggie who was too busy lighting up, he neglected to see the red light. I called a body shop I'd used in the past, and they said to call XL, and that they use them exclusivly. They were there in less than 20 minutes. The guy driving the truck was very nice. He got things cleaned up, put my car on the truck, and made me laugh the whole trip to the body shop. I met them on a not so happy camper note (of my own doing), and was reintroduced when I really needed some reassurance and help. I guess they wear alot of hats, and it seems as thou

This company is the top of the line. The answer their phones and respond to were you are at immediately. What a professional company. Just as I was losing faith in private tow companies, I meet XL towing to change my mind. Thanks again!

My State Farm agent referred me to XL Towing when I broke down off the 290 in lets say - not the best of neighborhoods. They told me it was be 15 minutes before a truck arrived so I opted to walk down to the diner to use the bathroom. By the time I got back, the truck was already there. I could not have asked for better service. I will be using them for now on.

They really saved me. I called and they came out to my car so quick. I hope I never have to use them again, but if I my car needs it again I'm for sure calling them!

A competent dispatcher, a literate tow truck driver, and an affordable price, what more could you ask for? My car wouldn't start due to the extreme cold, and my insurance roadside assistance was quoting me more than 1 hr. for service. so I searched for tow service on my phone, and found this gem! A truck was to me in 20 minutes (good thing too, or I'd be an icicle) and not only jumped my car but stayed a little bit after the jump to make sure it wouldn't stall out again. I can get reimbursed by my insurance company, so will definitely be calling XL Towing if needed in the future!

Broken down the night before Christmas Eve. My State Farm agent gave me the number for XL Towing and they were kind, expeditious and very knowledgable. I was home in no time and even got a free diagnosis of the problem with my car which the driver showed me how to fix myself with the proper replacement part. Thank you XL Towing, I can see why State Farm recommends you.

On-time, Professional, Reasonable, and Gentleman-like Drivers! I have used this company twice over the last two years (by my insurance company's recommendation). I never thought I’d say this, but breaking down has never been such a pleasurable experience! When I called for my second tow, which was a terrible accident, the dispatcher (who I take it is the owner) recognized my voice from over a year ago. She settled me down and made me feel like everything was going to be OK. SHE WAS RIGHT! Amidst the predatory, scanner-carrying accident chasers, emerged a kind soul who addressed me by name and brought me the comfort I needed at this freakish moment. The driver took me home, stored my mishmash of a car, and delivered it to the body shop the next morning. I was also pleased to hear from my State Farm agent that the tow bill was very reasonable. Thank you XL for once again coming to my rescue!

Fast, friendly, efficient, effective. The dispatcher was calm and helpful, the truck arrived in less than 30 minutes, and the driver had my car going in no time. AND they take plastic. What else can I say? Keep their number in your cell phone directory!!

I was broken down in a parking garage underground in downtown Chicago. What a nightmare. 3 Different tow trucks came out and all 3 were incapable of getting my car out (all 3 trucks were sent to me by AAA). Well, I decided my free tow with AAA was costing way to much and called XL Towing. They were the best, from the dispatcher who made me laugh to the driver who was able to do what the other 3 either couldnt do or were too lazy to do. I will never wait on AAA again. So not worth the aggravation. Thank you XL. YOU ROCK
