I would highly recommend Dr. Charous to anyone.I had a slightly enlarged right side thyroid gland in 2007 when I first visited Dr Charous. He recommended removing the right side before it grows too much. I didn't follow his advice thinking that the thyroid will stop growing. In 2008 I did a follow up and the thyroid grew 50 % more than it was the previous year. I got a second opinion and the second doctor recommended removing it as well. So I decided to have it removed. Dr. Charous was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly at all times. Everything went very well. He schedule a room at the hospital so I can stay overnight for observation. He talked to wife how the surgery went right after he was finished. Dr Charous came to visit me at my room the following morning to make sure I was fine. I had the surgery at Glenbrook hospital where the staff was very professional and made my feel very comfortable.
