Dr. Z has been our family physician for many years. He takes care of our entire family including my grandmother, parents, myself and my children. His office is warm and friendly. We rarely have to wait more than a few minutes to see him. He is fluent in Italian, which is great for Gramdma because she feels much more comfortable in her older years speaking in her native language. Everyone feels like he is a part of our family. He speaks in plain language and takes his time with each of us. It also helps that he has an awesome sense of humor! We all love his stories and jokes. He has guided us through some serious medical issues and always stays positive. He tells it like it is when we need to exercise or lose weight. He is not a "pill" doc. He encourages us to take responsibility for our health. Another thing is that he is not defensive if you ask questions and is open to new treatments and methods. If he doesn't know something, he finds out and follows up. The kids have always loved to go see him because he has a great bedside manner with the little ones and always has a smile. No matter how serious, everything feels better after we see Dr. Z!
