awesome words can't describe how good the food is unbelievablely good

The Chicago Diner is my new favorite restaurant!! I went yesterday for dinner and i am still not over it! It is pretty busy so I had a 10-15 minute wait, but once I got in it was the most amazing vegetarian place ever!

It is very homey, the waitstaff is very nice, and the atmosphere in general is just great. I could smell the yummy vegan baking.MMM. I had the california Reuben and it was so fresh, delicious and warm. I was so impressed. The side salad with sprouts was also super good.

My dad loved his karma burger and he is an ardent meat eater. There is definitely something for everyone.

If I could, I would live there. No joke.

You need to go here if you are visiting Chicago, even if you are a meat eater.

The best vegan restaurant in the city. Vegan diners are scarce, so most vegans would be happy enough just to eat here, however, the food is delicious, and exquisitely prepared. The menu is abundant - the staff is friendly. Our guests that aren't vegan are equally impressed.

Delicious vegetarian fare! The food here will impress vegetarians and omnivores alike. I've taken non-vegetarian friends here and they didn't miss the meat. My favorite is the Nachos, followed closely by the "chicken" Caesar salad. This is one of the best restaurants in Chicago, of any cuisine not just vegetarian.The only reason I've given it 4stars instead of 5 is that they've seemed to start skimping on the Nacho toppings lately; and it's a small space, so the dining rush hours usually result in guests standing in the vestibule waiting to be seated. The food is absolute delicious though, and the smoothies, though ridiculously expensive, are quite tasty too. Enjoy!
