I haven't really stayed in motels before but I'm pretty sure none are as bad as the Sportsman Inn! The place looked raggedy and it smelled of cigarettes and mold. But beyond that fact the beds are ridden with BED BUGS!!! I stayed at the Inn for literally two hours, I paid for an 8 hr stay and I couldn't even fall asleep with the constant stinging of bed bugs biting all over my body. I got up and shined a light and I saw a bunch of tiny crawling bugs and I hopped up and immediately told my attendant. I slept in my car that night and the next day I informed the employees I wanted a refund. They were rude and acting in disbelief, seriously? You find it hard to believe that your roach motel has an infestation of bed bugs?! Some how they explained that the manager is not there and told me they have to investigate. I called the next day and they already had a new person renting the exact same room!! Now that is just disgusting and illegal. An exterminator should have been called to fix the room before any other tenant was allowed to rent in there. Hopefully they are okay because there are some blood thirsty bugs in there. I still have not received my refund but I have contacted the health department and am following through with further action. Word of advice don't risk your health or waste your money here.
