We've been with the hospital for at least 20yrs. When our Beloved "Poopsie" needed bladder surgery. Great care was given to him until his demise in 2001 . I only have praise fir their services!!! I thank GOD for them.

Had to bring Boss our 1yr old pit bull terrier mix in for a deep cut too his paw.

Boss was a rescue animal, we are a family of four with one (low) income.

This was an expense we had not budgeted for but Dr. Bhaskar worked with us and

gave us different options, the best option, anesthesia, sutures, and antibiotics.



We have no doubt that Boss will recover fully and that we will return for any other veterinarian needs.

Thank you Dr. Bhaskar and staff for helping our much-loved four legged friend.

f you're looking for a caring vet whose main concern is the well being of your pet; definitely check out Dr. Bhaskar at the Seligman Animal Hospital.



Th parking lot and the outside of the office isn't much to look at, but DO NOT let that deter you from going in.



Two of my three dogs were rescues from Dr. Bhaskar and he's been our vet since 1986. It is a commute for us from Westchester, but i would never consider anyone else.



Dr. Bhaskar takes the time to get to know your pet and he is invested in their care completely. He takes his time to address your concerns and he offers thoughtful solutions to health issues.



The staff is super sweet. Linda the receptionist has been there FOREVER and just knows us by our faces.



Unlike many vets, Dr. Bhaskar's prices aren't exorbitant. A typical office visit runs around $40 and if you're tight on cash he works with you to get a payment plan...his main concern is that your pet is taken care of.



He does provide the usual services and he does do surgeries and dental stuff also.



I was waiting to pick up my dog the other day and heard another owner tell the receptionist that the vet she first took her dog to in Hinsdale spent 5 minutes with her dog and diagnosed him with allergies and put him on a steroid. when the dog got even worse after the meds her friend told her about Dr. Bhaskar. After Dr. Bhaskar took a good twenty minutes to look over the doggie, he found an abscess in the dog's throat which the steroids were making worse. So the doc got the doggie on the right treatment plan and he's doing better (this was their follow up visit)



so again, definitely bring your pets here for superb care!

I just want to know it is low cost or competive with NAWs and Animal Welfare League. I'm a dog owner and also involved in domestic animal rescue.

I have been taking my dog to Seligman animal hospital, since he was a puppy. Through out my dog's life, he had the best care from Dr. Bhaskar. He is the greatest vet and I highly recommend him. My husband had five dogs and all of his dogs since they were puppies were treated by Dr Bhaskar. He has a wonderful caring attitude towards the animals brought in to his office and truly cares. We have been with DR. Bhaskar 20 plus years. He has taken such good care of our pets.We are honored to say he is our vet and he always takes time to answer our questions.We recommend him to everyone we know that has a pet and wants that pet to be part of the family.He will even take time to speak to you about what dog would be good for your family before you buy it.He does not treat our dogs inhumane he takes care in how he works with them. We would never think of going anywhere else even if the visit was free we would stay here because he is a great Dr. He is not a mind reader so have your questions ready and he will answer them. Take it from a family that has been going there not only once but for 20 plus years.

We've been taking our dog here since we got him & we've never had any problems with the care he receives from this place. He's never nervous about seeing the doctor. The place is as clean as a vet's office will ever get. The people at the front desk & other assistants are very friendly, as well.
