I ordered 4 of the standard seats and backs or my fifties chrome dining/kitchen chairs. I was very happy with the product and fabric. However, the seats were grossly thick, which resulted in my legs dangling above the floor 1 1/2", thereby cutting into the back of my thighs (since my feet were not on the floor), and the top of my front thighs were snug on the apron of my table. The company suggested that I send them back to them (my cost to ship) ...they would compress foam to my thickness, then I could pay for shipping back to myself...which would have resulted in an extra $98 for shipping....beyond the already $49 I spent on shipping. Rather than spend the extra monies for shipping...I rectified my problem myself with a bit of elbow grease, so to speak. I think it would be quite helpful (for future customers) to mention in their advertisement of said cushions ...to mention the actual thickness of the item. The cushions were not 3 1/2" thick (in the middle) in the fifties.
