Great Bar.

This is a great piano bar. Older crowd (25- 60) that enjoys music and drinks. Some people complain about the dress code but I think that it's a nice touch. If you want to wear running shoes, jeans, and have your shirt hang out, go to a bar on the north side of town. This is a club for people who may have just spent a good deal of money on meals and a room downtown and they don't necessarily want to go to a Friday's (I like Friday's by the way). The coat check frees up space for everyone and it's not a problem. If you are drunk, they will cut you off and ask you to leave. Once again, it's an older crowd (25 - 60) that usually has a lot of fun. I have been going there for over 15 years when I have a chance to be downtown Chicago for the evening. I love it. My wife thinks it's a guy place meaning it's more for men. There used to be a big cigar area in the bar but Chicago is now a non-smoking town.

Great Time

As an east coaster, I didn't know quite what to expect from a Chicago "piano" bar. I was pleasantly surprised. The music was wonderful, the service pretty good for an extremely busy place and the prices moderate. The crowd was fun, and a good time was had by all! I would definitely recommend this place.
