I was planning on going to Brazil through Purely Destinations and they canceled the trip. They said we were supposed to receive our money back in 6-8 weeks. They gave us the run around after the 8 week time frame and I am assuming they went out of business with no notification at all. I would not recommend them at all! Well since they ar eout of business you cannot use them anyway.

I used Purely Destinations for a trip to Brazil. I'm sure they had the best of intentions but I almost paid for the entire trip to only find out that it was cancelled. They promised to refund our money. They never did. The sent one communication and I never heard from them again. They were not thorough in their research. Had they been thorough, they would have known that carnival was the next week and that they could have gotten the trip for almost $500 cheaper per person. My friend and I fortunately went without their assistance. Nevertheless, we lost our money. I'm not worried as they will reap what they sowed.

I went on a cruise last August that was a Purely Destinations arrangement. It was called the "Urban Soul Cruise". On day one I could tell this trip was not gonna be a good one. Many of our events that they had promoted were cancelled once we got on the boat...and when I say many probably 75 Very unorganized!!! Everyone who was part of the Urban Soul group was very disappointed and complained. We just had to make the best of it since there was nothing we could do sailing in the middle of the ocean. The lady who was the coordinator was drunk the whole time...very unpofessional!!! I have never been happier for a vacation to be over. Those were the longest 5 days of my life. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Purely Destinations was planning a trip to Brazil for February. In December they canceled the trip and told their customers that we would receive a refund in 6 -8 weeks. Not only have we not gotten our money back, they are impossible to get in touch with. I would not recommend them!

Very friendly young lady works here. I recommend doing one of their hosted trips. They work really hard to create a very enjoyable vacation. Their payment plans allow just about anyone to join a trip. ###I recieved very prompt service and definitely enjoyed my vacation. I will use them again and have joined their email list so I can learn about upcoming places they plan on going to.
